Haha I was going for more sarcastic reply than anything. It's a classic case of seeing a team wreck the scene with a certain style and not fully understanding what they did. I remember the famous Loco vs CLG argument was around what to do after pushing tower fast and how Dlift didn't want to push down fast because they didn't have a plan of what to do next. Guess more teams don't have those same arguments

Back when it was magic dmg and guinsoos rageblade destroyed turrets you indeed go ap and could spin through team -> run -> heal 1.5k -> spin through team -> run -> repeat and troll alot. I played a ton of AP tryndamere back then. It still had the downtime after every spin though and dealt no damage outside of it, critting for cooldown reduction also quite a pain. After it got changed to physical the spin has dealt 0 dmg. I guess you can still push really fast and stomp worse opponents as seems to be the case here, but I would be surprised to see Voyboy try this against a good team. You usually go Nashor + cd reduction boots now. That's about 5 sec cd on that spin without the crit reduction. Then I don't really get it, you deal no damage at all with that build. I actually tried that multiple times back when AP trynd was far better and came to that conclusion. I'd be really surprised if someone like Malphite couldn't just yawn against him in lane and then be 100 times more useful for the rest of the game. By the way I don't think I ever lost a lane with AP tryndamere so there's that of course and that still probably holds true. That's true. I've only tried it a few times but it felt like it needed nashor, cd reduction boots and rabadon before you could do much.

I don't understand this train of comments. You willingly admit that you haven't played s3 Tryndamere, and now are confused why it works? When told some valid reasons(cdr being a huge one), you refuse it, and say it didn't work before, so it won't work now? There's a big jump from s2 -> s3. There are a lot more items for AP+CDR, and people are finally getting around to abusing it(also why there is a pretty big jump with Lux mid(athene's item started it). The champions don't make as much a difference as items do in LoL. This is why balancing through items is seen more often in LoL.
