On another note: I LOVE this IPL for three reasons: Vayne, Cait and Olaf getting picked frequently which are all champs I really liked to play for ages already.

Biggest problem is having your team actually follow up and make sure to proc your passive quickly so you can reapply it and not waste passive procs.

Fnatic dove cait and failed, resulting in a full blow 5v5. Vayne wasn't that far behind in CS, but cait didn't buy any Dorans and had already PD+IE. Vayne at that point had only PD and a BF. So Vayne wasn't behind in gold that much, but a lot in items.
Actually you might even say, that this is a result of peke dying to Baron. He lost stacks afterwards and had to replenish them by using feast. If feast would have been availble in the engagement, maybe they could have managed to bring down cait and turned the fight and the game in their favour.

Cait was pretty ahead in CS.

That and just rushing attack speed kind of dumb even if you maxing Vayne W. Just having a BT and Zeal instead more damage.

As someone who plays vayne often I can tell you pd is better.Vayne's attack animation isn't very good and you really need the atk speed to make it more fluent.And since everyone goes for you 24/7 extra ms is always nice :D.

I'd almost say everyone always bum rushing you makes BT more valuable, imo. You get that lifesteal, and it makes your Q much much better. The MS nice, but you can't rely on hitting the W proc in a teamfight.

I dunno, I dont play Vayne. Just seems dumb to me. I guess it scales with Bonus AD on ult well, but... eh. I'll tests it.

What is the point in playing Vayne if you are not going to build to her strengths? You might as well pick literally any other adc if you're just going to build standard. Vayne is one of the few ADCs that scales well off of pure aspd, the other being Kogmaw.

I just don't get why he maxed W instead of Q, when he went straight for a PD. The only damage he's doing comes from W cus of his low AD.

I dunno... Make more sense max Q>E>W. level 5 W just 60 true damage +8%HP... unless you hitting a triple warmog Mundo you do more damage just getting AD and maxxing Q... then you also not limited to the stupid 3 target strike thing.

That and Vayne literally only AD in the entire game with an autoattack reset, but rush attack speed on her? I think it silly.

The animation on Q is so long that using it as an attack reset is fairly pointless. Even with just Zerker's you're going to attack as fast/faster by not using Q. Q's real value is in creating distance and getting some damage back as compensation for the trouble.

Also, Sivir has an auto-attack reset (and one that doesn't involve a super-long animation).

The power of maxing W is that it gives Vayne a stronger mid-game. You won't have much armor penetration at that point, at least in Season 2, so Q's bonus damage is going to be mitigated to an extent (especially if Tabi are being used). Even with a fully stacked Bloodthirster at level 9, Rank 5 Q might only deal an extra 60 damage or less post-mitigation. Your target only needs 1500 health (which is low for a bruiser/tank at that point) for W to triple the damage of a Q. Even if you can get 3 Qs for every W proc you're at best even.

So with or without items, or even much attack speed, W is really strong. Obviously this depends on your ability to actually get procs, but if you ever wondered how the hell that Vayne you were crushing in lane was able to triple kill your team, it isn't because they were maxing Q.

this is not true at all, especially not until you have a PD, why do you think you can auto Q Auto to get 2 cs with would die almost at the same time while just standing there and Autoing twice wouldnt have got them.

I can auto Q to get 2 CS before I purchase any attack speed, but once I have Zerker's the difference is extremely small.

Yeah, I only ever play her with people I know, but I guess I just overestimated my damage and tankiness. I WILL TRY AGAIN. I like her kit in theory ha.

I'm no expert (at all), but I tend to just ask my AD if they play aggressive or not. If they say yes, Leona so fun. Also, I <3 Leona Mobo boots. Always make plays, never not make plays.

Im just paranoid. It wouldnt be the first awesome beginning turning into a Bebe killfest. Also, now i get the feeling that Asian teams just let one game go to hell, to make things more interesting. Real crowd players.
