Keep the rage to a minimum. This includes wait times between games, music, and balance.
Fair warning to all. |

Can't fix issue, games will be played in another location over next few days and will be live streamed, check LoL website for details over next 48 hours.

They should definitely restart the Bo3, they're tied up anyways
but yea, GG internet

We fucked up. feel it is unfair for players to continue playing. they will play sometime this week at a secure venue that will be live streamed.

kudos to wheat for filling and telling us the 'state of game'. Well... goodnight.

Refunded. If I'm not mistaken.

Moving the venue, delaying rest of tourney till 1 week from now, and basically saying everyone who isn't from the area that they got fucked hard
EDIT* - Riot is doing their best with damage control but anyone that flew or drove in basically don't get a finals unless they want to come back or watch live stream.

I really hope they just give WE and CLG a clean slate and have a completely new bo3

Personally I am happy with the decision, I just wish it had come sooner.

So i stayed up to 06:00 in the morning for this
Man.

Additionally, I'm being told from someone in LA that when the stream goes down his Internet also goes down, which points out a larger area-wide issue (i.e. the ISP and/or cabling in between).

Sucks that I wasted so much time today but it's not some tragedy. Still looking forward to the upcoming matches and I just hope there will be no issues at the grand final.

They told the crowd all their tickets will be refunded. He also said the crowd will be getting riot points, which I thought he said 25,000 which is a crazy amount. considering giving out RP actually doesnt cost riot anything, this is actually a pretty cheap move to control the crowd. worked, though. Nah, Riot just contacted their banks that they will pay some extra basispoints on their loans ... God, I hate replies this, I'm not even sure if you are trolling or not, you have to be so totally retarded (or pretending to be) to not realise they lose money on this. An entertainment company giving away their only source of revenue, how intangible it might be, for free, WILL cost them money. Also, this sucks so so much for everyone involved, best solution for something insolvable I guess

You got jokes..? OGN has been running tournaments in places with games when valve's idea of hat's on things was but a twinkle in newel's eye. I hear the new OSL is going very well. Tons of viewers every night, heated LR threads, etc. Oh wait. But the Azubu the Champions Tournament is a smashing success in Korea, and they already hosted 2 big finals without a hitch. Look, Korea doesn't have the same sort of issues we have here in the US. OGN never had to deal with the venue network hardware failures that US organizers deal with regularly. OGN broadcasts to television stations, which never happens with US eSports. Valve is a better model for Riot because they are an US company and ran their tournament in the US. There's no excuse for Riot to fail this bad given their financial success, and one hopes they're going to learn a lot from this experience. Valve would react the exact same way if they got hit with hardware issues during the international. Anyone thinking otherwise is fooling themselves. Valve is willing to give LAN. That's the main difference. And LANs are somehow exempt from hardware issues?
Seriously? you're gonna make the argument that LAN would NOT make better tournaments?

God..I hate it when Slasher has a point
@Slasher When MLG Dallas had issues, Sundance came out and made the announcement bimself. Where is the same from Riot? Wheat should not be doing it.
