In early 2011 (I'm estimating, don't really remember how long ago it was) pretty much all the games were like this, there have been a lot of balance changes since to make things more aggressive. This was exactly like one of those deadly boring old style games.

I feel that MTW just didn't have enough control in their setup for a trist ad. Nunu and Soraka don't have hard CC, Shen's CC is minor and his shield on the AD requires him to be inactive. Trist needs to stay alive to be able to do damage. Trist can jump away from an Akali, but she'll just jump after her. Plus an AP anticarry against a soraka is of course good. The armor buff that trist gets from the heal doesn't do much.

Also, Crs improved a million since Saint joined them, if they keep up like this i see a super strong team in the future

The last few series of Flash v Fantasy were really great. But therein lies a particular difference that I have noticed. When nothing is "happening" more seems to be happening in SC:BW and SC2 in the TvT matchup specifically. Its all about positioning, and tank lines and other small tiny advantages that come from just playing TvT at a super high level. This doesn't happen in any other matchup in SC and far less in SC2 than in SC:BW. I think the only passive game that is amazingly fun to watch is a super high level TvT where there is tension at all times as a result of positioning. This tension doesnt exist for me in any other matchup in SC2 or BW or LoL (where passivity is the trait of definition from necessity as opposed to a result of indecision). The only exception being holding some spectacularly difficult to stop all in slow push from Terran. But then thats the same as setting up for a major ambush in LoL which didn't happen in this most recent game ![]()

Oh there are many more positioning then you (and the commentators :p) realize. The game is kinda that "passive" or the so called baron dance because if one champion dies the game is over. It is probably not that exiciting to watch and even less fun to play (hell its so exhausting to be in the pressure for 10-20 mins when no one dies but you know if you are out of the position for half a sec the game is over) apparently those are helicopter HS + earbuds but i have no idea if they are realls soundproof They are decently soundproofed but you will still hear some things occasionally + you will obv always hear the crowd

The first 20 minutes were stupid passive and positioning wasn't even something you could see as being the main goal. They werent positioning to be aggressive they were positioning to be able to defend and farm passively. As the game went on there was more positioning involved but it was still different than the kind of tactical aggression i saw earlier in the day in different games.
