Fair enough. I wasn't around that time (or not knowing about the proscene lol), only playing for about a year now. But wouldn't you say that the game since then has changed a lot? Playstyles, itemizations etc. have subtle changes every few weeks. Just think two to three months back when Dorans stacking was all the rage. Now its GP10. Okay, he might have been beast on TF - but in the games nowadays that comes down to what? Knowing how to aim his Q, decent reflexes picking cards, decent ulti positioning. Imho.

TSM so much poke. SGS just has to initate on them or die to poke. Except they have nothing to kill Corki. So that's game.

Really nice split against the rumble ult, and Jarvan unable to lock down Chaox. GG TSM.
FUCKING PAY THE VENUE FOR ANOTHER 2 HOURS COME ON GUYS

Also I think you guys give Regi a bit too much shit :/
Nah, Reginald pretty good actually. Apart from his choice of TF (and his items according to MB), he makes pretty good calls, played his lane good etc.

Rough early game but TSM looked pretty strong.

TF has changed a lot. Which is evidenced by the fact that Regi's TF is not as incredible looking as it used to be. Especially when compared to say Misaya's TF.
I kinda hope that some interviewer asks Regi why he goes three gp10 on TF though. I'd like to hear his non-troll thoughts on it as it's a build that doesn't make sense to me (and doesn't make sense to a lot of other people on TL apparently).

pity Karma lost :[ SS were doin so well too, but Xpecial/Chaox + SS derping is just too strong for TSM.

Also I think you guys give Regi a bit too much shit :/ Still, going HoG first in lane and then a Philo and then a Kage is a bad build for someone who wants to early gank like TF no matter how you look at it... It's not like he made a misplay. It's a conscious decision to do something like this.
I think Regi felt pinned in his lane because Karma was pushing so hard. It hurt him a bit, but the dividends certainly paid off in the end.

Play styles change, but TF's mechanics really haven't. That's the biggest challenge when it comes to picking up a particular hero.

Chaox carried the game. SGS's bottom lane is way too weak... otherwise, SGS won both mid and top lane.

Wat. Game 2 delayed till tomorrow?
Reminds me of split-series MSL -___-

I was really hoping Lulu/graves would perform well after Xpecial went in on my girl Lulu last week, but they just got shat on.

is it just me or was that sgs vs tsm game basically chaox >>>> darkness.
i think if they fixed up bot lane, sgs had a really potent comp and a damn good chance at winning that.

Honestly, going triple gold/10 might've been okay if Regi was resigned to just playign super passive and putting his faith in Xpecial/Chaox dominating bot lane to carry them through to the point where the gold/10 items are worth it, especially since Karma was pressuring his ass so damn hard. But Regi kept trying to make ganks happen when he had no damage to back it up, makin his item choice really weird/bad. If you noticed, Regi was essentially a stunbot that could get off maybe 1~2 stuns per fight and did no damage. It wasn't until he sat on his triple gold/10 for like 30 minutes to get his Dcap when he actually started making impacts on the game. Up until then, it was all Xpecial/Chaox holding them in the game + SGS doin some really stupid shit like pushing balls deep with 4 against 5 and diving TSM at their third tower.

Right. Which is why I dunno why you'd pick TF of all champions to do that with. Why not just play triple gp10 Morgana or triple gp10 Gragas. End of the game you'll end up with a stronger team fight than TF with either champion. TF's biggest strength is how much he can influence the game with his ult during mid game which is why I don't understand the gp10 build on him.
Still, I'd like to hear Regi's thoughts as he did the same build earlier against oRb.

i think if they fixed up bot lane, sgs had a really potent comp and a damn good chance at winning that. Basically, yes. Chaox was in control bottom lane the entire time and dominated the farm. SGS never quite had an answer for him. Very nice co-ordinated play by SGS I will give them that. I'm predicting that tomorrow, after both teams have had time to think about Game 1, SGS will try to cheese Chaox out.

Yeah, he definitely had some questionable and ineffective teleports early on. And that SGS rush at TSM's mid inhibitor turret was just not a good move, game looked pretty much over after that. I agree that Regi's TF didn't have the desirable impact that game, but I think his 3gp/10 was just a reaction to being pinned to his turret. He just wasn't quite sure how to play it.
