Even worse, I think the HD subscriber stream is basically the same thing as the Own3d.tv stream that's embedded in the leagueoflegends.com page above.

I don't really know what this means. A fight without amumu because he's off farming is the same as a fight without shaco, or olaf, or ww. Everyone has the same value when they're not there... so if some other hero could wander off and farm, so could you.

No, definitely not. Amumu's ulti in teamfights has the potential to win or lose you the entire thing, so when there's a teamfight, you'd better be there as Amumu.... Someone like olaf can't win or lose a teamfight with one skill, so he can go farm up without hurting his team as much.

A champ that's as underfarmed at that Amumu was, where he gets instagibbed inside the first round of CC and doesn't even get to ulti is just as worthless regardless of who he is.

Yea that was the funny part after buying the HD pass. At least it covers the other events too and can watch some sexy sc2.

Well you kind of build a team with Amumu's ult in mind, so him not being there hurts a lot more than Shaco not being there. If Shaco's not at a teamfight it's no big loss since he's not particularly suited to it in the first place, and he's a very good splitpusher so he can get objectives (towers, neutrals) by himself while just farming a lane and forcing people to come and stop him. Not only are those people probably more valuable in teamfights, they will probably lose 1v1 to Shaco or just not be able to catch him.

Just finished watching all three games. Millennium's carries outfarmed TSM's by a good amount except for the Jax that got screwed early. The Annie was even down in CS early from dying but caught up in no time. There really shouldn't be that much difference in lasthitting mechanics between top players. It was the same at Dreamhack where all the Euro teams out lasthit American teams for no apparent reason. I'm really curious how that happens.

Nunu couldn't really ult because of the CCs. Getting two quicksilvers was a good plan and would've saved M except the Annie who was really good otherwise decided to engage for no reason while the whole team was running away. M did an extremely good job stopping TSM from baroning the first time but they were just overall less coordinated. TSM's early game is superb and has gotten them the advantage every time.

I totally agree with you zulu_nation8. M is suffering for some recent lineup changes. Moma was more or less fired (he was their mid carry ap) and their carry AD YellowStar isn't there (due to Hollidays) so they made a lot of changes in their lineup and roles and they lack coordination from that.

I don't know if they have the potential to reach the finals right now.

TSM was looking great today with some innovation to the meta-gameplay (wriggles) and a good coordination and execution overall. As I said, I can't wait to see how the other big names like CLG, Fnatic or SK will perform tomorrow.

A really exciting tournament so far

I remember Moma being one of the best AP players in Dreamhack, strange that he's off the team now.

Tsm saw them pick nunu and knew if they could shut down jax they would rape them and they did. Cait was only up 10-20 cs and jax was the same level as tsm's jungle and annie is fine with farm since she couldn't get lane kills against udyr. The big cs difference at the end was cait and jax farming alone and letting their team die. While just looking at cs and the early towers for m, tsm dominated laning by shutting down jax completely(28 min gunblade rush yo). Annie had more farm than regi but regi also had 4 kills early and focused on zoning jax.

And triple wriggles made the 4k gold advantage when the game started to snowball more like 5-6k with all the free wards.

Udyr against annie is pretty good since she normally relies on getting kills in lane, and brand raped jax so hard.

cait being up 10-20 cs free farming with support vs a free farming ashe with support is and wouldve been a bigger deal if TSM wasn't winning in every other area.

Just an FYI, since the casters didn't seem to know this either. The wriggles on your bottom lane carry has become essentially standard in high level games on the American servers. With an AD carry/support lane, it provides the carry with some sustain, a free ward, massive dragon control, a madred proc chance for pushing lanes faster and/or making up for a few last hit mistakes, and it provides armor against the opposing AD carry.

I would say that the lack of caster knowledge surrounding the American meta has been the only disappointment so far. Solo top Udyr w/ wriggles + SV is a first or second ban in every ranked or arranged game in America, and TRM made the Europeans pay for it and the casters look kind of dumb.

Oh yeah, I knew that brand would destroy jax pretty hard because of burst trades - but i thought that annie would destroy udyr hard enough to make up for that and then some.

Hmm, looks like I should edit that line then. I just copied the post from the SC2 OP and the paid HD definitely applied to them. However, since Riot has the HD for free on their own website there isn't really a need for that in this thread.
