I don't understand how these problems weren't Riots fault It's obviously Riots fault but the way you present it as "tarnished" generally implies crookedness, as if Riot did it on purpose. Obviously that isn't what you meant though but I think that is what Ferrose is trying to say.

I don't understand how these problems weren't Riots fault ??? The crash during swap bug isn't related to spectator mode at all, unless we are using spectator mode since the beginning of season one lol You seem to have no clue what are you talking about o.O

Bugs are 100% guaranteed when you add or change features of anything, especially something still unreleased. That is my point. Riot puts out new champions every other week, they add stuff that makes them money. But when it comes down to adding/fixing/improving something that doesn't make them money, there seems to be a lack of attention. The switch bug happened every single game, I am not a programmer, or even know how to programming, but I am preeeeeeeeeeeeeetty sure, you're supposed to test common things after you "add or change" features. Ahh maybe tarnished was the wrong word, it just simply meant that they've done something to hurt their reputation or make themselves look bad.

Yea, Riot is always taking a gamble with spectator mode, even observer summoner spell has been known to crash games. At least they seem to be only a bug or two away from stable and with the exposure this got it should be a very high priority fix.

Not likely CLG's strategies aren't really super secret, they just have insane decision making especially during big team fights. Maybe he knows more of their Ban/Pick thought process and can deduce their next ban/pick though?

You do test them, but the first lesson you learn in programming is that deployment is always different than your test and beta servers. Issues will always come up in the live environment that were not evident in the test environment. And when they do come up at a tourney like this, you can't just "fix it". It takes new code that then needs to be tested and redeployed. It's more complicated than you'd think. If it was so easy to release bug-free software, then everyone would do it. However, that never happens.

Except that Salce doesn't need to beat jiji. He needs to beat their substitute. I not familiar with the high elo scene, but I don't think this NA sub exists.

Played his ass off this tournament, and carried quite a few games. He's the biggest star on the best team this tournament.
