I would much rather play higher skilled koreans, who do not have the beta, on the hots mod if it is identical than play mid-high na gms or popular casters. They are fun to watch, but feedback and practice wise I find it less efficient with only unranked being an option? I will say the faster pace of lotv has been really good and will most likely be a huge improvement. Hopefully it stays that way when the obviously too strong units get tweaked a bit. Oh and the ravager model is hilarious. | ||

Because they're all making fun of him, they're not there to seriously watch that picture.. EDIT: Also as I said, he's not the only fulltime streamer that didn't get in. It's not Avilo getting fucked over, it's just that they're focusing on a small pool of players and that can mean they're missing some streamers. | ||

at the very least give it an air attack so protoss can have a solid anti muta option, w/ their bounce upgrade protoss would have a viable/fast response to mutas. | ||

as expected adepts arent very good, they dont fill a specific role for protoss. it just feels like a gimmicky early game unit, i mean why would you ever get the bounce upgrade anyways? its not even a mass-able middgame/lategame unit. If they splashed outright they'd be good i think. Maybe not in pvp early game (stalker will beat stalker adept) but vs zerg and terran, bonus to light damage and splash right out of the gateway? It's gonna be awesome unless it's undertuned | ||

People have been screaming for an anti-light splash damage unit from the gateway for 6 years - it's not like it's a weird niche that isn't useful, it just seems underpowered if people would rather spam zealot/stalker/sentry even vs marines, lings and hydras. Plenty of things that can easily be changed: 1; splash without upgrade requirement 2; cost (overall cost, or gas to mineral ratio) 3; build time 4; damage vs armored 5; ability to shoot up 6; health 7; speed 8; ROF/overall damage 9; splash radius etcetc | ||
