The other issue is I don't think thresh can jungle so your team is going to be at a massive gold/exp deficit in the earlygame fights.

I really preferred the version they had that gave you bonus based on what elements your team got, but I guess that's difficult to balance/play.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I've always liked WW and I play well on him. I don't think he's strong but his lack of mechanics makes me play smarter and win pretty frequently whereas if I on Lee or Nidalee or some shit I feel I need to outplay a kid and get bopped doing uneccesarily risky shit (or look like a God who hard carried... 50/50). I hope this doesn't kill my "back to basics" champ. 28-6 in WW games over the past 3 years.

I'd love to hear an argument for it though. I've won retarded matchups in the past in one for all but it was mainly due to the enemy being completely terrible and outclassed Don't forget Thresh has infinite scaling on his souls passive! Well, technically not infinite, but 999,999 souls, which would give him 750K armor and AP. So obviously Thresh just has to play for late game for the 99.99% damage reduction from Olaf's physical damage, and the 1-shot potential from a 750K damage ult. /s

I feel like every option is horrible inefficient, and it makes me feel like a trash jungler. Maybe i just need to live with the clear bring worse than last season? Time wise blue>Gromp>wolf>chickens>red>golems is best but I can't do it because my team keeps getting bopped by red>golem cheese; in that scenario you need to either counter gank a level behind (bad) or pray your team doesn't feed because you can't counter jungleing cuz he is on the same side as you. Starting red side feels gross. No good paths unless you skip a camp.

I guess you could chickens red golems, but that just feels bad because you have no routing options afterwards but ganking sideline or going home. New jungle feels blargh. Maybe like buff>buff -> full clear would be good? I dunno that sounds bad too. At least we got plants though. <_<

My personall gameplay experience was better sans plants and with smite buffs and old timers. I used to be able to start like 4 different ways that were efficient and effective and allowed me to get closer to my win condition.. now I have 1-Ish which is not malleable and I need to make sure I don't get burned in order to not be hella poor. Much harder to just be around a Hotspot lane at critical timings now. Your kinda handcuffed and I don't like it. I used to have clear goals and the ability to path and maje decisions around that and towards that goal. Now I either do that and get out farmed or win the farm and lose critical matchups, or win critical matchup and fall behind. I know all junglers have to deal with this, but I feel like my influence is much smaller than before. I can't set up a teammate to carry without losing my ability to carry. Not sure if I'm bad or if it's an intentional change by riot, but I've adapted quite poorly to this patch imo.
