not saying its not stupid the way its now just sharing strat i use to counter that cheese is to start same side as enemy krugs when i see lvl3 cheese instead doing my 2nd buff i immediately go to his jungle and leave nothing for him, so far tested it only on olaf not sure if slower farmers are able to do this

It's an issue with almost every Melee champ in ARAM.
General rule of thumb when you get stuck as a Melee? Build super-tank and tank and hope your DPS players aren't terrible.

That's really not what you should do on a lot of melee champions. Ekko ult is pretty easy to hit in ARAM.

AP Ekko pretty strong in Aram.. he has ranged damage spell that slows, good gap closer that is an auto reset, stun + shield and ult can be used to disengage or for good damage.

damn pro players are different people off stream, even people who seem to be super chill you would never suspect to be a rager or griefer can be complete dick when nobody is watching, just saw on tardzaned stream santorin get butthurt cause he didnt get jungle lock vayne top doesnt give leash lvl1 and pretty much int feed entire game.

Thing is, I have played Volibear, Udyr, Olaf, etc before and they were dozens of times more useful. Now, maybe it is because my team had no primary engage, or maybe my team was just outright terrible, but Q is not a ranged spell so far as ARAM is concerned, W was impossible to hit, and more than half the time there was no time to even line up an ult because I would die before the shadow could catch up.

Did Shyvana always do this much damage while still being incredible tanky or had I just forgotten how beastly she become with items... She tore our team apart with Frozen Mallet and Titanic Hydra. Our GP had no chance of containing her since she'd just shove in a splitsecond and then roam around until next wave without really losing any CS. Looked like Doran's Shield and Tabi's was all she needed to shrug off his harass.
The near insta-burst from Q and Hydra (eventually Titanic) attack resets was so disgusting for a tank. Her new Dragon Form E is brutal.

Shyv with a Tiamat has always been murder. The recent minirework helps as well.

She always is ridiculous midgame unlessthey are bad.
It's usually not the items, it's the level lead that makes her disgusting / hit hard / be tanky. Shy is Nidalee with less exciting tools and a slightly worse early game. But in the same way she can take over the game if she knows what she is doing.

I only play aram now that league is terrible until they fix it, and I am very surprised by how people don't know how to play the mode at all.
My account solely consists of melee bruisers and a few supports/adc and I have around a 65% winrate on it.
1. You don't go for kills unless it's an ace. Killing low health people that aren't suiciding actually helps the other team, they will respawn before a real fight happens. If they have low hp people you back them up to their tower so you can kill tower after you wipe.
2. The mode favors AOE, use it. A lot of champs have to completely alter their build/skill order on aram. Some examples is you max W on annie first, max W on warwick, max E first on veigar (this is a huge one, veigar is one of the best champs you can get on aram but so many people misplay him), E max on jax and go tank, etc.
3. Some one mentioned building tank if you can, which is correct. Warmog's is broken lategame if you play correctly. Pretty much any champ that doesn't have huge AOE damage capabilities should be building almost full tank, even stuff like khazix. There are some exceptions like jarvan that benefit heavily from damage because they can easily do high AOE damage.
4. Stop taking snowball unless your champ absolutely demands it (darius, galio, etc) It's a horrible spell now and when I see my mages or adcs taking it I know its going to be a hard game.

Right now the worst champions in ARAM are a mix of champions that are actually awful at ARAM (Rek'Sai, Evelynn, Tryndamere, Kindred) and champions that have recently been reworked (LeBlanc, Ryze, Kha'Zix, Katarina).
Ekko by contrast is decent. He's about on par with Soraka / Yi / Kennen in term of winrate - solidly mid tier. (Warwick is around here too.)

Agreed, with a few additions:
1. The only time it's worth giving up major cooldowns or lives to kill someone low is if they have a Sona or other broken-tier regen champion - if she's low you absolutely have to finish the kill no matter what.
2. Similarly W max on Sona is pretty good in ARAM if you don't need the DPS.
3. It's a shame they got rid of the Aegis ARAM freelo, but Warmog's and Redemption are now the two kings of ARAM tank items. Redemption is going to get nerfed on SR, though, so there's a good chance it won't be nearly as good on ARAM soon as it is now. But I think it will still be the key support-tank-ish item to rush on most champions.
4. I honestly don't get why people think they have to take snowball. Like even if snowball existed on SR you wouldn't take it on Xerath or Lux, so why are you taking it on ARAM? Clarity is OK if you have a few mega-mana users but I hate it late game; Ignite is critical if you have no Morello builder on your team; otherwise most squishies are probably best off with Exhaust.

You cannot really use the winrate for anything. Teemo, which is completely garbage if you buy oracle, has higher winrate than S-tiers like Veigar. If the casual ARAM player would use proper ARAM builds, skill orders and not play champions they suck at the win ratios would look waaaaay different.

Shyvana actually did a lot more damage when Sated was a thing, she still isn't as good as she was. If you don't get a level lead then you're pretty much useless so if she gets behind it's a struggle.

You can't use it as a conclusion, but you can use it as a starting point, because otherwise we're just saying "nuh uh" and "yuh huh" at each other. Like, if someone thinks Protobelt makes Eve viable in ARAM, but won't look at statistical evidence, I dunno what to say except she's still total garbage compared to just about any other champion because half her kit makes no sense any more. But that doesn't really change anybody's mind, because we all knew that already.
Also, it's true that games with tryhard ARAMers that build correctly and skill correctly and have great rerolls are going to have vastly different winrates. But most people don't queue into that ARAM, and instead play in a world where 90% of the players don't even know Oracle's exists. Having a Veigar on your team is better than having a Teemo on your team IF your Veigar maxes E and builds tanky and IF their team builds Oracle's, but that almost never happens anyway, so is it really that inaccurate to say, "Teemo is better on ARAM than Veigar"?
