As players we want a system best suited for the game and some players want a game where you can flame all you want. It doesn't really matter to me but its an interesting subject. It's still kind of like pointing out water is wet. Both sides want wholly subjective things.

It's not pointless when people use the term "offensive" as if it carries some kind of objective weight.
Saying "X is offensive" should be equivalent to saying "I don't like X" but it isn't.
Technically I'm offended by anyone who picks teemo but because its so rare of an opinion I can't form any kind of movement about it.
Actually maybe I can. I want to start a movement to get teemo deleted from league of legends.

So Heimer has been at the top/near the top of winrate for a few months now, anyone have a feeling as to why, or why he isn't played more? His R-E and R-Q can be great in the right situations, but his turrets just seem so useless outside of laning unless you are taking an objective or the enemy team has literally no poke abilities.

Heimer has no mobility but more importantly is a yordle scum and I want him deleted from league of legends.
Gnar and rumble have to go as well but the rest are an OK bunch I think.

People play a lot of melees in top. All heimer needs to do is ward decently and then lololololol through lanephase by setting up turrets properly and win lane through CS. Just massively outfarming the other top is enough to win him a lot of games.

you cant push him out of lane and his r-w can 1shot people. engaging on his turrets is very bad news since they do a lot of damage and he just zhonyas while you die
hes very boring though, you just sit behind your turrets until their towers die
MAXIMUM DAMAGE TO SINGLE CHAMPION OR MONSTER: 648 / 864 / 1180 (+ 216% AP). I don't know if you guys know, but 648 burst damage at level 6 is pretty stupid, especially since that's more than fiddlesticks level 1 ult over the whole duration

A lot of the skills from AD transfer to mid really well, also you tend to power spike earlier so the impact of you being better than your lane opponent shows more.
Heimer support can be pretty hilarious, but with the new rules I'm not allowed to have fun anymore.  The ult is stupid strong, people seem to forget that he has really good base damage to make up for being immobile and squishy (or is it the other way around?).

Also a lot of people forget about his R-E, even when they are cognizant of R-W and R-Q. It has really surprising range and the 80% slow is huge, even if you don't hit them with the stun.

Id argue he wins much more games than the statistical average because most of his damage is targeted and he has huge range (when you think about the fact that his turrets used to be a global ability that got scaled down to something like 1500 range). Its honestly harder to make mistakes on heimer than it is on other champions; his damage is more reliable and that makes him more sucessful on average. Not that hes like good competitively - you can abuse the shit out of him with certain picks (Syndra, Nasus I think).
People dont use RE because its not anywhere close to as reliable as RQ, and honestly I think its almost superflous. Like when are you looking for hard engage out of heimerdinger and not RQ turret damage? If you want engage its just better from somewhere else, and RE is not valuable secondary engage when compared to the damage RQ does.

Heimer eh? That's interesting, his winrate is about 51% in Diamond and 55% in Plat. That's definitely much higher than it used to be a month or two ago. I've seen him as mostly a lower elo pub stomper. I wonder what's changed.
