Why?If the wave is pushing in and you dont use heal while trading 2 for 2 is worth(or I guess can be depends too broad) and if the jungler wasn't there it would be a 2 for 1.Can imagine quite a few situations where that exact thing happens as well if that is what you meant.

Our stance isn't that the player who has first pick should ignore his team and auto lock. It's that players should try to collaborate to form a team.
While Raph is pretty "fuck you, I'm picking support, lalalala" in this situation. Not that I'm quoting him.
Just to point out that Raphael's MAIN ROLE is support. So while Lustboy is a LCS support, are we to assume that for some reason he can't play any other role more optimally than Raphael? Give me a break, this has nothing to do with "You should let Lustboy play support because that's omg TSM", it's Lustboy being a troll because he didn't get his way because he's some sort of net celebrity and this shit gets old.

If you see their jungler and know that the enemy TP is on cooldown it's a good call, otherwise too risky to do a full on dive.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he's on TSM. If we're going to assume that Lustboy can play any role better than a non-pro purely based around the fact that he's a pro played, we can also assume with just as much assurance that Lustboy can play support that much, if not more, better. It's also a disservice to Raph to assume that he needs to be on support or he gets bodied.
I'm all about putting the best players on their best positions. This isn't CLG. With all due respect, he wasn't the best support on his team.
Not gonna become the best support if you don't practice it either though. I guess it depends on what you personally believe solo queue is for. I treat it for fun, and improvement, and wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to take a role I wanted.
If I was in challenger, I wouldn't care if someone took an LCS players role either.
Edit: Then again I'm pretty weird. I don't care THAT much about winning, and mostly care about my own performance. Sometimes I'll post in the Shikyo thread, but that's mostly just for fun.

scenario: you pull off a successful 2v2 dive killing both enemies and your support dead but their jungler is coming. you are taking tower aggro and bound to die unless you use heal. your flash was used during the dive. the adc was the last one to hit you.
do you a) save heal? kill goes to their adc and assist goes to their support. b) use heal? kill goes to their jungler and assist goes to their adc and support.
of course every situation will vary, but I think I would generally lean towards A. my friend said he would go for B generally.

?? I didn't say anything about him needing support except that he was earlier pick and wanted to play his main role. I only pointed out support was his main role because it justifies his pick even more than so.

its a hypothetical, this didn't happen to me lol. and although not ideal, situations like that can occur
for ex. their support ignites my support as he tries to flash out and he's too far to heal or their adc flashes for my support as he tries to flash out and live after turret aggro and he's either too far to heal or will die regardless
etc.
I discussed this with my friend because we saw a similar situation in snake vs king game 5
If you want to play smart league of legends, I would not suggest following any examples from either of these teams. Lol
im gonna guess that most pros can play any role at probably mid to high diamond level at a minimum though, and we're way past the days where someone who cant even soloq to plat plays for a pro team
Got like 2k IP out of the event so far, grinding games in Aram with friends. Unfortunately we could only play for around 2 hours before they went to bed. I'm hoping we get a good 3-5 hour Aram marathon tomorrow after the 3rd/4th place match in NA LCS.
Also, to my knowledge most pro gamers do have some mild to moderate experience playing any role, mainly relying on fotm champs to carry them when they don't get their main role.
I think it might have some uses for repositioning during the active while the fight happens, or for early snowballing I guess. Other than that I'd say it's suboptimal for dps output. You'd almost always want to build IE/PD/LW/BT/defensive item - or mercurial if you have enough protection. You could swap out the BT for Botrk if you're up against high hp targets, but that's about it.
damn wish i was 1/10 as good on azir, bought him recently played 2 games and dropped because he seems too hard for me to put effort into learning that champion ;/
You couldn't at the start iirc, they changed it in a patch (I don't remember how it was initially, Azir stopped where the soldier was before the Q iirc?).
Although to be fair, almost all the clips are only basic stuff. You can sum up the video with "Azir uses E and Flash to bunch up the enemy team for his allies" and 3-4 other clips. That's good and all, but how does he play when he doesn't have both Flash and ult available then? For the massacre at blue bot t1, there are at least 2 kills without an assist, meaning he 100-0'd these people with a few autos, the tower, and his ult. That screams "he's fed to hell" to me and I find these clips uninteresting because that's just a guy insanely ahead who could faceroll and dump the others. I'd be more interested to see how he got to this lead in the first place.
The pentakill is more legit though. That's not to say that the clips are entirely devoid of interest, but the only one I see in most of them is his positioning to allow him these Flash-ult plays (and positioning is super important for Azir). Apart from that the plays themselves are the same thing rehashed over and over.
