That's not to say that the clips are entirely devoid of interest, but the only one I see in most of them is his positioning to allow him these Flash-ult plays (and positioning is super important for Azir). Apart from that the plays themselves are the same thing rehashed over and over.


I just watched the first 9 clips and only counted 2 flashes. And maybe only 1 or two where he was insanely fed. You have a very selective memory.

he uses the Q mid air, after travelling a bit of distance, so he has effectively longer Q range, instead of just WEQ inquick succession.

Right, I only counted 3 Flashes over the whole video, my bad. I confused a few E that seemed to put him over the enemy instead of in front him as Flashes, and I forgot how far behind him his ult actually starts.
Which doesn't remove from the fact that most of the clips are "WE into Q to reach further, auto-ult-auto", most of the early clips are just finishing off a low opponent too (the Xerath, the Thresh, and the Bard is full health iirc but he's fed for that one). I stand by my opinion that the interesting part is his positioning in the non-"finishing off" clips.

Just had this game and my arms are kinda shaking, part from the fatigue and part because it was so tense.
I augmented Q early (after Morello and boots1) to close in on Karthus, dodge his Qs, hit easy Es (he was bad and let me get in range easily, ended up giving me 3 early kills), but ended up using it mostly to stay away from Annie or try to kite Shyvana/Udyr.
They weren't doing too much damage early on (I beat Shyvana 1v1 using Ignite when she jumped me while I contested our blue), but later they hurt, especially Udyr with Zephyr and some nasty crits. Trying to chain Qs and Ws to stay safe while still dealing damage and bailing as soon as they activate their MS buffs toward me was way more fun than I thought. It felt fair too because I didn't kill them fast and Shyvana wouldn't even break my shield with E and proximity W, but if they got on top of me I'd melt.

The gold graph's amusing too, I never thought we'd actually be behind in gold when we had more towers, kills, and similar farm, turns out the 30 bonus gold from Machete and average higher gold/cs in the jungle makes for a ton of gold, holy crap. We had the momentum because they didn't coordinate their splitpush well, and until later on didn't think we'd lose a lot of towers even if we lost a fight because of it so we still felt ahead, never thought we were actually behind in gold.
Super fun game, which may have turned out horrible for us if Karthus was decent, with all the piling on that happened with Leona/Maokai/Udyr/Shyvana.
Cant take LMS hipsters serious.

ive unlocked Viktor yesterday.

What do you upgrade after E? I personally upgraded W because dragging into center and ult worked perfectly l o l.
If you don't know what the fuck you are doing, how are your enemies supposed to know what the fuck you are doing. - imaqtpie on NA teams at Worlds.

Usually Q, timing differs, because of the speed-up that helps run away (including using it on monsters and minions) or catch up to someone (especially when you get it early if you've got the damage to kill someone, casting Q and running up can put you in range to W them, meaning free E, R, and Q is off cooldown soon).

Think about it this way for W: wouldn't you have won the fight anyway if you got a 5-man regular W?
Also, unless they're on opposite edges of the W (and I do mean "edges"), your ult will hit them all regardless of the vacuum effect, it only gives you more damage compared to if they split up as soon as the stun wears off (since you can get the AoE on all of them instead of having to choose who to chase).

E is a bitch to cast. Lost a normal earlier this evening because in 3 different fights I got an ult on their carries (one of them with a Malph ult for the setup) but E didn't cast when I tried so they didn't insta-died, and then the team funneled into the Sona mashing R. >.<

Sometimes it's just you going too fast and right-clicking before you finish dragging so it cancels the cast, but I swear sometimes that goddamn spell just doesn't cast unless you drag all the way which makes no goddamn sense.

Yeah, but thats kind of the point though, when you run Smite-TP aatrox you have to fuck up pretty damn hard to not win your lane by 30 creeps.

the assassin nerfs didn't really ruin the game fun wise for me, I'm enjoying the game as much if not moreso than before them. That all goes down the drain when the enemy team picks Karthus.
