That's implying EU LCS performance holds any salt in competitive play. SK losing to YFW should have settled that.

Ez is also the most fun ADC to play while not sober, because it's hilarious when your team starts raging at you for missing like 1/3rd of your Qs and if things start going wrong you just E outta there.

The more I play Cait, the more I hate her lategame. Her headshot steroid is just so underwhelming, I feel defensive item easily outscale her, and there's really not much you can really do past midgame.

Caits lategame is pretty weak, but onl because everyone else can get a full six items too. If they don't however and you're smart and go IE, PD, LW, BT, Scimitar (then swap boots for zephyr) then your lategame should be better than theirs provided they don't (or they're too short range to not die with said build).
Edit: the margin on scimitar is about 400/320 (IE, BT, LW, PD + Scimitar, compared to def item) which is about 25% more DPS (and burst and ability damage)
The margin on scimitar and BT compared to BV and Botrk is 400/250 for almost 66% more auto damage (minus Botrk proc, Botrk dps increase from AS is about 18% so you're still way ahead with Bt/scim)
The main problem that ADs have right now is that they fail to transition into that lategame build without really really good reasons, since it's the highest dps and good def on basically every champion.

It's not so much damage problem as it is staying alive to do damage. BotRK+Triforce+Muramana+LW does a surprising amount of damage to a lot of the current tanks, and it allows you stay alive to do so. Not to mention with Arcane Shift, it allows you easily position yourself at a flank through terrain so you can also have access to their backline.

GA is bad unless you realy need the passive to prevent a reset on the enemy team. 99% of the time you will just die last and respawn to die again. Otherwise even not using the active scimitar is the best item you can get. It has the most Damage and BVs passive is usually popped by poke before you eat their init anyway.
The BT/Scimitar finisher, especially since dragon and masteries my illy your AD, is just too powerful to pass up right now.

Usually one of two things that tends to happen when I get GA. No one ever focuses me ever again, allows me to do free deepz, or they blow all their cooldowns, and wait around my dead body as my team kills them, acting like a psuedo zhonya's/tank. I know it's not ideal, but my ADC mechanics are seriously problematic, adding QSS is doing me no favors in games.

If you're getting focused so hard it's your positioning. My position is that if my mechanics are bad I want to play high variance. Max that damage (and especially that first hit/crit damage). If I am going to die at least I am going to crit someone for 1500+ damage before I go down.

To be clear im not advocating kog as a first pick, but you don't need full blown juggermaw to win a solo q game either.
Besides ill take solos/jungle with reliable stuns over solo q lulus who have self cast bound to R
