If there are any good enough to be on the mens team they could be. This is a tournament that has to have appeal other than the pure skill level. Maybe if asians are too dominant in vidyas games we'll have to have white guy only tournaments with a max of 1 1/2 korean guy. LOL What is NA/EU LCS with half assed foreigner restriction?

And people shouldn't be looking at Garena as some big bad guy for doing this. They consulted with their (female and lgbt) player base for this decision. If there was no opposition in the community towards transgendered players being included, there would be no limitation in the first place. If anything, ask the female players why they don't want to include transgendered players in their tournaments.

There are fine reasons for that though I'm not sure what to think. In the end Garena is doing all this for money, and if they think this will get them more money (and who am I to say it won't), then more power to them I guess. It's not like it's really hurting anyone that badly. On the other hand it sounds pants on head retarded, so that makes me think it might not be such a great idea. I'm pretty undecided.

Who is this, and what have they done with the cat girl loving edgy euro known as scip? I think if you frame it closer to what Teut was saying, I can definitely see why, especially considering how culturally conservative that region is.

What would you consider more euro, being morally outraged at the discrimination of lesbians and transgendered people, or just going w/e you guys making such a big deal about a female only (LOLOLOLL) league?

That said, the big eyebrow raiser for me, potentially, is their talk around gay contestants. Are they speaking purely gay males, or...? I don't see why lesbians should be limited in any way. They're just as female as any hetero girl there.

Why yes, when you single out a single community to apply blatant bullshit restrictions upon, they and others tend to get upset. If there was a tournament that only allowed one Italian per team, you would be upset, so why should this be any different?

If their talking gay guys or transgendered than that's so incredibly dumb I can't even comprehend the point of it. (so now apparently gay guys are allowed in female leagues? This is more insane than them banning gay females) also as to the idea that guys would cross dress and say that they identify as female, I think that would be pretty unlikely that someone would go through all that hassle, plus if they got found out they'd probably get in serious trouble

If cash prizes are high, is it really unreasonable to think that some diamond male team could wear makeup, say they all consider themselves female and enter? Maybe they already had signs that people were planning to do that? Organizations like Olympics skirt(not intentional, I swear) around this issue by requiring athletes to have undergone hormone replacement therapy for a certain amount of time, which from everything I've heard does have an impact. Most female leagues arise as a result of female teams being marketable(got fangirls, why not fanboys?) but not strong enough to compete in male dominated leagues or, in some cases, not wanting to compete against males because it's a different kind of competitiveness.
