And having a way to damage tanks is fine (I mean, if you tried playing Viktor in s3-4 it was painfully obvious that no DFG would let you magically play your role by focusing a Nasus/Renekton/Xin), it's just Liandry's is simply so inefficient outside of edge cases that noone builds it anyway, even at lower levels, which makes their statement false. Then (or rather, before) there's the part where they say "after Liandry's was introduced, people started buying DFG to 100-0 squishies". Yup. DFG was used against tanks previously and not primarily to blow up squishies better. Riot said it in their patchnotes so it's gotta become true all of a sudden. Horseshit. | ||

With the current meta as it is the reason why junglers go 21/9/0 is because they get all their defensive stats from going full tank after getting their enchantment from the jungler item for a tiny bit more AD/AP for that extra bit of flat damage for the first couple fights. The only time a jungler will go 9/21/0 is if they are the team's sole tank and the team composition requires you to do so (usually this means the Tenacity enchantment + Ninja Tabi or Mobi Boots). | ||

It probably is a big nerf overall, unless she can somehow stick her E onto a target (which has a pretty small range to begin with), then get 4 AAs off on them before they run away (which isn't likely unless she's max level or has a max level Q to give her the AS steroid to get the shots off). It might help her blow up a single target in the mid game power trough she used to have, but the late game terror that is a 4+ item Trist is gone. Edit: Actually, the fact that the E can be applies to towers means she can chunk towers down super fast once she gets an AD item (Pickaxe or BFS) and let her be able to afk farm a lane, so... I dunno, I still think it's a nerf. | ||

just checked it's essentially the same range (-5) as her auto at all levels Riot's original context post on the reworkOld Trist was a late game powerhouse who didn’t really have clearly defined weaknesses. Her power dipped in the mid game, yeah, but when you look at other super powerful late game carries (think Vayne or Kog’Maw), she just didn’t have the same Achilles heel-type glowing red spots for her enemy team to pew pew at. She had insane range and speed with her basic attacks, and even when she did get caught, she had a decent knock back AND a lengthy jump that let her GTFO. Changes were needed, and after deliberating with the rest of the champion update designers, we decided to cement Tristana as a daredevil reset carry who gets bonuses from (rocket) jumping into fights while removing some of thesafe strength she had in her kit. the nerf is intentional the question is, is she still good, she still has a reset so odds are she isn't terrible. | ||

Still dislike the jingle change, now the jungler will have to back a second time after clearing the other buff camp and a second camp (usually Red and Krugs or Blue and Gromp), which means a slower climb to 6 and less likely to see ganks in the 3-5 range. Akali change is fine, her burst combo was so oppressive at the 6-11 range. That's all I got so far. Question: Is there a hypercarry anymore? | ||
