Which goes back to my original point. its not really a risk if you poison the target. if the target was going to die in that half second anyway, they will die nbd, if they weren't then you just twin fang then and get the kill and move on. i don't see how you can argue both that you are letting someone get away and they they'd die without your spell hitting. we're talking about decision making within a half second interval. if they were going to get away in that half second and live, then that situation should be apparent and you cast the spell. if they are getting hit by your whole team and are 1 hit from death then you know not to cast twin fang. arguing about its unpredictability is the same as saying ahri's spells are unpredictable because if you dash into a group of 4 targets the person you want to get hit might not be, because you mis aimed your dash. you making a bad decision isn't the spell being unpredictable. its you making a bad decision. twin fang's reset was no more unpredictable than any skillshot hitting a target who was low hp. if a teammate kills them you should have figured that out. | ||

Free stats or whatever isn't inherently a bad thing, but it's a little weird that they would seem to take such a strong stance against that idea and then constantly release champions with that mechanic. Or maybe it was just one designer who voiced that opinion and others there don't feel the same way as him. It's tough to say. | ||

Its pretty clear that there is a disconnect, not only because of the free stats, or free sustain they put on new releases. Its also that they release new champions that clearly cannot be balanced within the world the balance team has created. | ||

I main Cass as my 2nd most played champ (I think it's been 2nd or 3rd even pre-rework) - I stopped playing her after the rework because I thought she was crap. But I've picked her up again over the past month or so - with the changes to the #s recently she now hasn't lost too much early game power, but her late game spike is pretty large. In the first rework I could hit 400 stacks in 20 - 25 minutes generally, which made her a midgame threat too (I'm finding with the new rework it's taking quite a bit longer, unfortunately - generally 28 - 33 minutes for me to hit 500). I really like how the new Cass plays though - and the E buff (reset on cast instead of on impact) is actually really huge. EDIT: The infinite mana pool is also really huge for laning. My WR with cass went from 49% pre-rework to 54% overall now (which means, with about even games played before/after I've been near 60% with cass since the rework) I feel that a lot of people just aren't comfortable with how the new cass plays. | ||
