its not really a risk if you poison the target. if the target was going to die in that half second anyway, they will die nbd, if they weren't then you just twin fang then and get the kill and move on. i don't see how you can argue both that you are letting someone get away and they they'd die without your spell hitting.

we're talking about decision making within a half second interval. if they were going to get away in that half second and live, then that situation should be apparent and you cast the spell. if they are getting hit by your whole team and are 1 hit from death then you know not to cast twin fang.

arguing about its unpredictability is the same as saying ahri's spells are unpredictable because if you dash into a group of 4 targets the person you want to get hit might not be, because you mis aimed your dash. you making a bad decision isn't the spell being unpredictable. its you making a bad decision.

twin fang's reset was no more unpredictable than any skillshot hitting a target who was low hp. if a teammate kills them you should have figured that out.

There's enough intermingling between USE/USW that it's not a big deal.

The main thing is that Valve allows a player in any region to queue in any other at their own discretion, which means that kind of stuff sort of works itself out. The downside is that you can get people queuing in regions that are super far from them rather than their closest region (e.g. Russians playing on EUW) and ruining games because of it. Valve apparently doesn't consider this to be a big deal because it happens with low enough frequency, but I don't expect Riot to have the same opinion.

This whole Cass discussion makes me wish Riot just did the updated E poison recognition and didn't fiddle with anything else in her kit.

The stacking passive is just bogus.

same. first clear was really slow but overall felt really strong afterwards. %max health dmg is so good

her q feels so darn weak though, she just felt clunky to use. Probably just need more play with her.

You can't do that. By only changing her E she would be the most utterly OP champion in the game - and Riot knew about it. To complement her E changes Cass's power curve needs to be adjusted entirely.

Rek'Sai's attack speed isn't "free". It's not very interesting (although it helps scaling her E by making it easier to build up Fury during teamfights I guess), but the active's alone isn't powerful enough to make an ult, so she gets some other stuff on top of it to make up for it.

It feels like there's a disconnect between their champ design team and their balance team. Free stats or whatever isn't inherently a bad thing, but it's a little weird that they would seem to take such a strong stance against that idea and then constantly release champions with that mechanic.

Or maybe it was just one designer who voiced that opinion and others there don't feel the same way as him. It's tough to say.

No, I agree. Its pretty clear that there is a disconnect, not only because of the free stats, or free sustain they put on new releases. Its also that they release new champions that clearly cannot be balanced within the world the balance team has created.

Am I the only one that likes the new cass over the old cass?

I main Cass as my 2nd most played champ (I think it's been 2nd or 3rd even pre-rework) - I stopped playing her after the rework because I thought she was crap. But I've picked her up again over the past month or so - with the changes to the #s recently she now hasn't lost too much early game power, but her late game spike is pretty large. In the first rework I could hit 400 stacks in 20 - 25 minutes generally, which made her a midgame threat too (I'm finding with the new rework it's taking quite a bit longer, unfortunately - generally 28 - 33 minutes for me to hit 500).

I really like how the new Cass plays though - and the E buff (reset on cast instead of on impact) is actually really huge.

EDIT: The infinite mana pool is also really huge for laning. My WR with cass went from 49% pre-rework to 54% overall now (which means, with about even games played before/after I've been near 60% with cass since the rework)

I feel that a lot of people just aren't comfortable with how the new cass plays.

Please tell me I will see the return of mid jiji. I would easily root for any team jiji is in(since I believe bigfatjiji is a pretty decent talent scout and plays the game well still). I also believe his season of jungling for CLG was underrated, and his CLG era is basically overshadowed by CLG's overall terrible roster moves(which made every single CLG player at the time look worse than they actually were)
