Since most people can't be bothered to do some complex draft shit, we're going to do things this way.
Pick - One player from each role - One wild card from any region - One value player (all point gains x2, no loss on death), maximum cost 3 - One team
- One anti team player. If this player costs 5 or more, subtract the cost from your budget.
Total Points available - 50
SCORING STRUCTURE Point multipliers
For players - Kills = 1.5 - Deaths = -1 - Assists = 0.75 - GPM = 75gpm/pt
For teams (kills relative) - Kills = 0.5 - Dragons, Towers = 2 - Baron = 4 - Time rating(Not yet implemented, but this may be included depending on feedback)

Point values are preliminary, more informed people tell me if I need to change costs. I will finalize costs hopefully on the 15th, and then drafting closes on the 17th whenever I go to sleep (~11:00pm EST). Format could also change,

Tell me if anything in the spreadsheet looks broken, although I think everything is linked up correctly now.
I'll be looking for somebody else(maybe multiple) to help maintain the spreadsheet. I have work and games start at 5:00am for me. I can't guarantee that I'll be able to update the spreadsheet at any point until I get off work even if I can watch the games.
Updating the spreadsheet once all initial data has been entered should only involve filling in Kills, Deaths, Assists Gold and Team: Turrets, Dragons and Barons, and copying down if you need more games. If you think you can do that without blowing things up, let me know.

For now, 1.5 per kill, -1 for death, 0.75 for assist, 0.01 per cs(GPM maybe better?) Team is going to be 0.5 per kill difference, 1.5 per turret, 2 per drag and 4 per baron. I will probably increase the cost of the most favoured teams due to the rather high expected value from a 6+ turret 3+ drag 10+ kill and 1-2 baron advantage they will likely have. Feeder teams are likely to be low cost, free or even negative.
Value players will not lose points on death. This now changes things to who you think can make the most plays, without regard for how badly they are getting stomped.

That's not to say you shouldn't look over the costs though, because I'm hoping to not have outrageously undercost or overly expensive picks.

The biggest problem i have with these formats is that they give huge value to teams that have long games or series. It doesn't reward people who pick teams that are good at attaining early leads and consistently closing them out.

Also feel free to draft away people. Costs have been finalized. It is your responsibility to ensure that your team meets cost requirements. I'll be doing a check later, but for now I'm done with adjusting stuff. Read OP for rules on point structure.

50p decreasing with game time is crude, but it might work. I don't like giving losing teams credit for stalling, it makes surrenders hurt a lot. Ultimately its still up to participants to play around the format. Is this just for groups or the whole tournament?

I knew I under/overcosted some stuff =(. You have an idea for how much each player should cost in a vacuum, but then you forget to look at who they're playing against.
Oh well, too late to change costs now that people are actively drafting.
Pretty happy with the format I made up overall though.

Anti is simply negative points for each of the categories, so you lose points if they do good and gain if they do bad.

In light of the extenuating circumstances regarding SK, cost changes may need to happen.

Just disallow sven from being picked as the anti player. Especially because no one had sven in the anti-team before the news anyways.
I mean we still don't know if Morning is playing or if Chawy will be playing for TPA.

Not sure how 13 point player is "good value". The best value player here really is Winds, and possibly lustboy. Even Nyph cost 8 points while Lustboy was at 6. Basically all of TSM was fairly undervalued considering their group is probably the easiest.

I figured AHQ would go 2-4 at worst, which was comparable to teams like Fanatic, LMQ, OMG, or SK, which were in the 7-11 point range rather than the 1-3 range, which allowed me to grab the four Samsung W players. I did get pretty lucky with the Edward upset though.
