Edit : Nevermind, it takes 6 hours :\ Also how can you not land E on Soraka? Shit will work with any cc. Amu ult + Soraka's E will work wonders. Silence + another root :D | ||

The Hexcore loses out when you first upgrade it, and you need 2k gold more to get your "additional 80 AP". Viktor had clearly defined power spikes that tended to not line-up with his opponents, which gave him a bit of flexibility as long as you got the augment timely enough, the changes smooth it out in favour of "once you've got spare gold to spend, you can dump it toward an item that'll bring more AP and utility for its slot than most in the game". He doesn't have these spikes, especially at level 7~9 for his wave clear + burst. Oh, great, you do 500 more damage in the late game! But you do 300 less in the midgame, which is when the Shyvana/Maokai/etc. don't have 3k HP and 150 MR to neuter your ult yet. I mean, as soon as you talk about Seraph's on Viktor and how strong it is and how much AP it gives for his Q... who gives a damn. Because Viktor players know his current kit is about the level 7+ with augment and the midgame burst damage, not the 45 minutes in, 6 items "Man I sure hope I can get in range and they won't spam shields and heals (or just kill me) before my ult can finish the squishies off with periodic damage". I don't know of any streams geared towards really new players, so I can't really recommend anyone if you haven't played the game before. Mechanics don't really play into it much if you don't know what abilities do. Maybe some ADC stream like Doublelift or Gosu. | ||
