I tried it for a while on Elise/Nunu but honestly in soloQ if people commit and tunnelvision you can ping as much as you want and they won't back, unlike in arranged 5s when you actually scream at them to back the fuck off.
I think it's much better to buy items and 1-2 wards on your back.

It's not meant to be. It's similar to the Rammus and Anivia ones. Just a simple texture update. Not a full visual update.
Would they be updating the older skins for this visual update? Like take one of the older skins like the one with a cigar and a hat(dunno the name) and take the pool party or scorched earth skin. I don't see why they would update the newer skins like scorched earth because its already pretty highly textured.

But you would never say the same thing to a support no?
The jungler should buy sightstone if they're not glass. Frankly the jungler should probably buy sightstone in leiu of the support if they're a tankier champion and you're only getting one. Sightstone is basically the old Heart of Gold but more efficient so long as you actually place the wards(if you place 3 wards/3 minutes you're at 12.5 GP/10).
If the meta today originated out of whole cloth instead of coming from the meta where the support was a ward bitch junglers would buy the sightstone.
I would say it in some cases but they are not that common. If the support isn't getting one sure it is great but in the end it is just soloq. You need actual coordination and brain function to use the vision advantage.
I bought Sona today. Can someone enlighten me how is she supposed to be useful? I mean, I somehow cannot asses her impact in skirmishes and teamfights outside of the crescendo. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose and I have no idea did i do smth wrong or right for that to happen. And also in lane, looks like she is supposed to harass to be useful, but I am not sure she harasses better than zyra, karma, lulu, nami, zilean even morgana, so when you pick Sona, what do you guys pick her for? What is she supposed to excel at?
I like to pick Sona when paired with a weak laning ADC because you can create space with Q and provide sustain with W. Aggressively trading drains your mana really quickly, it's more along the lines of auto-Q'ing their ADC if he or she tries to poke your ADC. You have great kill pressure at 6 with flash R, especially with the jungler, but your abilities don't scale well into lategame unless you build significant AP. I personally prefer to build tanky/cdr (some combination of Locket, Mikaels, FH per their team composition) with Distortion boots and try to focus on hitting key targets with W power chords after initiating with flash R.
I'm only Gold I, so take it with a grain of salt, but I hope that was helpful.

I believe it is most likely due to the SR update that is coming up. I think some of the older graphics probably won't mesh well with the new SR updates. At least, some of the older models and older skins just look plain outdated/messy in comparison. Also pretty sure this is an update for everything related to Renekton(they call it a texture update), so maybe you are misunderstanding something(as in, it's not just that one skin).

Outback, Galactic, Classic, and Bloodfury Renekton are the skins that currently have model/texture updates on the PBE. The first three were his launch skins and Bloodfury I think is his oldest non-launch skin, so it all makes sense.

Die against a burst champion and allow him to reach 6 first (with a trip to the shopping mall in-between) and you're pretty much guaranteed to die to the all-in. Even without the item lead someone like Riven can do that easily.
Being a full level behind on champions more reliant on exp than farm (for example steroids) can be more crippling than items before the first major one is completed, in the 1v1 lanes.
On the other hand, DotA doesn't have assist XP after death the way LoL does, which creates 2 consequences: 1) If you are behind, even if you die early in a fight, if you got assists on all the ensuing kills by using an AoE skill or the like, you will share a portion of the XP (and gold), giving you something out of the fight 2) If you focus down a fed hero first in a fight, they will receive no XP for any subsequent kills--often meaning that focusing a farmed enemy hero in a fight can reset their XP advantage and curtail their snowballing.

Just wondering if you know of a different LOL talkshow that provides analysis of games.
I dunno, maybe I'm just a salty CLG antifan who thought they never shoulda kicked Saint, but its made me laugh pretty hard. The laugh just gets me, and then one of the context words hits and tears come out.

Its like watching Day9, just like... old spanish dude.
Probably just me feeling good after a ton of games destroying baddies, but I feel like Jayce is still pretty legit right now. Accelerated shockblasts still good enough for poke comps imo. Really wish I picked Jayce up when he was super OP.
