Riot can send a reminder to TSM if they care. They have 0 reason to air the laundry like this. The most they should do is make a small note about it during the LCS broadcast about he couldnt play yet this week if papers were not done in time. This is drama creation for no reason at all and only makes them (Riot) look bad.

Or why it's considered airing laundry for that matter. Again, there's nothing nefarious about it...
It's not like nick allen spoiled the news that lustboy was being picked up. He's keeping lcs fans updated about fancy new pickup. It only looks bad cuz tsm hasn't finished submitting forms before announcing pick up.

Just my personal opinion -
I thought it was actually good on Nick Allen to tweet it - If Lustboy was unable to play due to missing a paperwork deadline, there'd be frustration directed at Riot. I don't understand why people are reacting so much to it :l (If there's further drama, that's certainly different though haha)
The fact that he could have told TSM privately doesn't really matter much, given that it turned out (in Anakko's post above) to be addressed completely without issue. *shrugs* ^^

Honestly, you sound like the "really entitled whiner." Take it to the Shikyo memorial thread. It's really annoying to read this type of shit. If you're getting wrecked by ADs, it's probably because they are stutter stepping more so than you say, you're initiating at a shit time, you're not as far ahead as you think you are, or a million other reasons. Deal with it because whining in TL LoL doesn't change anything. It just clogs up the general discussion.
Better yet, write down how you think you should deal with it or ask for input. A post should never be fucking "omg, this shit is imba" but rather "oh wow, this shit is strong. How do I deal with it?" and most of that is dependent on your specific game situation.

It's pretty common for leagues in sports to keep fans updated in these situations if teams are not

NickAllen's tweets would be fine if prefaced with the word "yet"
The way he words it and given the context of the situation it sounds like Riot is butthurt TSM is announcing Lustboy on their roster before it has been Riot-sanctioned as part of the Riot-approved Riot-eSport. If Kubon can play on Gambit there is literally no way that Lustboy won't pass the behavior check, unless the behavior check involves "will not dispute Riot in any way." And its not like TSM is going to fail to get paperwork done on time.

not to mention the fact that Seraph did stream before joining, was a known sub who had little playtime, so you could actually see how he played.

Just had the honor of playing with teut in soloq, combined 7/22 score for our TL botlane. Not too shabby.

I think there has been at least a dozen times when teams have managed to fuck up paper work, including not filling stuff out in time Notice how I mentioned a specific team and not team in the abstract. Obviously Lemondogs manager and part-time NiP owner had issues but their organization as a whole was new to League/Riot and also full of sketch to begin with.
Regardless, you're missing the main point of my argument to argue the technicality of whether or not TSM would get the paperwork done. The issue isn't that Riot shouldn't let everyone know that Lustboy is not yet confirmed due to procedural steps, but rather the snarky "don't you dare announce Lustboy before it is sanctioned" attitude that comes from those tweets being unabated at all. Whether that is the intention behind them or not, there is definitely a lack of professionalism via deliberate equivocation and ambiguity.
In any of my dealings with employers, employees, and clients, that kind of inferred tone from language would be incredibly rude.

I do enjoy playing the game past 10 minutes and tanky built champions not being bigger early game gambits than Urgot, y'know. Frozen Heart aura is awful. It's only a 15% attack speed decrease and it only has like 700 range. Trist can easily stay outside of FH aura range, especially if the FH aura range is calculated from the center of the champion's model like most non-attack ranges in the game(since that will reduce the effective range by 50~70).
If you have Warmogs+FH, that's 190 armor. LW effectively makes that 123.5 armor, which is 56% damage reduction. Trist with max level Q +PD will have max attack speed. Add in IE and you're looking at ~500 dps.
Moral of story: Don't buy FH. Outside of the armor, it does nothing defensive for you.
EDIT: Damn you people are reading way too much into a simple tweet. Maybe tweeting is the fastest and easiest way for Riot to contact TSM to ensure they get the message and the shit done asap. Not to mention it places it firmly in the public record so if shit happens Riot can cover their asses easier. We all know how prone to grabbing pitchforks this community is.

We had a similar debate a few months ago, and the reality is that teams and players very rarely go from mediocre to elite. The few that have always had shown flashes of brilliance early and just struggled to be consistent (usually because of bad teammates).

Yeah I think this whole Nick Allen thing is just because it is very easy for people to misinterpret the tone of tweets, combined with the fact that it is very hard to imply tone with such a short message. Nick Allen certainly could have worded it better or provided more context but it's clearly a non-issue at this point.
