Got the pleasure to lane againt my first Nidalee. Wtf, she's so overtuned. And with 2 PB-AoE spells not requiring vision nor to aim to hit, and the range increase on her Q (Wukong received a range increase on his because of the awfully long animation, Vi on her E because she has nothing to stick and a long-ish animation too, how does Nid need that QoL on Takedown? Oo) she can completely ignore the creep wave when trading, regardless of whether she applied her passive or not. I mean, technically she already did, but because she was ranged. Even in her melee form she can pretty much ignore any issues with pathing, jukes, vision, etc. and she's assured to hit 2 first. I already knew she was stupid if she applied her passive, and that she was almost as stupid as Jayce in concept, though. What really disgusts me is how low the changes make her skill floor actually be. Unless there's a jungler camping her at early levels (which would be naive because Pounce), the non-prey base damage combined with short cooldowns and a ranged form make her pretty damn brainless. The subtlety of ranged off laners like old Nid pre-6 and Kennen's pretty much nowhere in this one and it kinda saddens me (sure, it was gone altogether previously, but I hoped there'd be some measure of skill floor in the new Nidalee when brought back top). Edit: Hecarim's E and ult deal no damage even if he gets the animation off if he gets knocked back after the spell starts. Like. REALLY? For shame, as if I didn't have enough bullshit to deal with when playing Vi, my other jungler is filled with shit that takes his basic functioning away from him? | ||

Guy picks Yasuo as 2nd pick, spams "mid or feed". His duoQ, 5th pick, instalocks GP and they immediatly swap, while the mid guy keeps spamming. They're Plat III and Silver I in a Gold I-II Elo game. So you combo the huge level discrepancy, the ballscrap attitude, and their total lack of communication (apart from the "trolling" that probably makes these kids giggle), and well... I don't even care about the result. The attitude already makes the game shitty. So far I've also met 5 people (including 2 today) who admitted to trolling on purpose knowing the tribunal's down and as long as they don't flame (to get chat restrictions) they're fine. Like, when you know it must at least prevent some people from doing it, isn't that basic logic not to tell them they're clear now, Riot? Oo | ||

yea gotta love the favoritism, skarner is viable for a single patch immediate nerfs. Elise, lee sin, eve every game. "yea we good here" champions like urgot and olaf in the dumpster, nidalee is weak for one patch. OMG HURRY BUFF HER WTF and nidalee isnt even that weak in the hands of somebody that knows what they are doing top which is the worst part. | ||

Just because there are a few pricks doesn't mean that they should get rid of duoing completely. They're also trying to force a meta by buffing Ziggs and Trist every other patch till they see competitive play. Trist is slightly under 50% WR, and I don't mind as much since I almost always play her bot but there's so many other champs to look at first. It feels like they're trying to force people to pick champs rather than letting people figure out what they want. Trist's jumps have been fixed like 10 times now. I remember at least 3 times but the patch history on the wiki lists it twice. | ||

The last I spoke on the subject was when 4 games in a row we had a Plat+Silver duo on both teams (some smurfs, some utter baddies, some pricks, some actually decent and well-mannered but still destroying the game because of level gap) and a 5th one with "only" one such duo in it. That was an utterly miserable session of play, and obviously it's the luck of the draw that such a situation arises (law of great numbers, yadda-yadda), but such duos are usually detrimental to the quality of the games they appear in. That last one got me demoted (granted, on the 5 games it took me to get demoted today one was basically decided by a glitch, two had a one guy rage and feed on purpose, 3 included a premade (the trolls from my last one, 2 very bad guys from one game with a feeder, and that last one was just 2 people, nothing in particular), so obviously I wouldn't blame premades just because of the last one, but 2 out of 5 tends to mark people). Then again it's summer break and I'm playing on a week-end. I'm quite a dumbass, forgot it was holidays. Oh yeah you know what else makes you lose? Some trash jungler picking Skarner because "Skarner OP this patch". | ||
