I don't think the thought process should be 'does my champion likes atmas stats?, and if yes, get it and build HP to make it efficient' It should rather be, does the champion benefits from lots of HP stacking? And if yes, just now start looking at atmas to see if the stats are useful for the champion/gameplan' . the problem you quickly find is that when you do want tons of HP, you don't want atmas, you rather have other stuff in 85% of your games. Not that atmas's cost efficiency is that bad, it's just that the stats given are all over the place. | ||

Yerrow is known for his teleport+ignite support LB. I never seen him do bad on it in soloQ I think, always carry super hard. Maybe we'll see that? :3 | ||

I think Riot is incredibly flexible when it comes to champion purchases. People need to get the idea out of their head that reworked champions = free refund. | ||

TO be fair, not many other gaming companies at the time allowed you to spend real money to get time or money gated content. most companies just released a full game. the micro transaction games prior to league were almost universally considered money grab games. league did change the market quite a bit. the burden of absorbing the consequences of that change are rightfully or not, on riot's shoulders. | ||

It's lower than Ryze's, Elise's, Viktor's point'n'click spells. And considering the long cast animation of Sapling Toss, counting on its short slow to make up for it is... not convincing to me (also plays against mobos Maokai since you'd lose the bonus from the sapling and not run in range). W's damage is worse against almost everyone until level 8 (need ~850-900 HP if you don't have AP, and way more if you have any, for level 1 W), it's only a buff if you use it on big monsters, and past level 14 for your targeets (unless they build a bunch of HP or, again, you have AP). The ult is a huge nerf to me. I'd rather be able to drop it on my team and dive the enemy to lock down a carry if the game calls for it, than have to forsake all of Maokai's initiation power because if I don't sit on top of my carries they won't benefit from my ult. It also forces him to stick with them, making it worse against AoE comps (gives them one more target for free) when one of the 2 comps it's good against is typically AoE teamfight comps (the other is assassins). Re: refunds. I understand the refunds for Karma and Trundle because the changes made to them were really significant (especially poor Trundle who got molested pretty hard, and his whole identity and 2 of his skins (classic and lil' slugger) were basically removed/made moot by it. Others like Twitch, though? Sure, Twitch's worse in many ways now (dance, some of his lines, walk, etc.) but it's still close enough to the original, he keeps most of his identity. | ||
