Before you go WTF CHALLENGER WINS 60% ON BLUE SIDE, know that challenger players win 55% of the time over all, so their blue side win rate is inflated too. Sufficiency's table shows 60% winrate for blue vs purple in Challenger. 60% means that 1 in 10 games that should go to purple, go to blue.

Given that, how can it not be the camera angle? I don't think people are saying it's not the camera angle. Merely that is could be something more and the camera angle only a piece of it. Just seems extremely odd that this is such a huge deal in lol compared to other games.

Not sure what you mean here. Challenger players have roughly equal chance to play on blue or ppurple side. It is just that they are so good that they win 60% of the time on blue and 50% of the time on purple.

The camera angle is just so bad for botlane, you have to play unlocked basically 100% or you cannot see anything. Idk about the other lanes since I don't play those as much, but I feel like there's a huge disadvantage for purple side there. Lol.You misspelled having golems to heal and not having to back early. Are there really people who still play with locked camera? Why is that even an option lol?

Locked camera is what a lot of pros use during laning phase and teamfights. Allows for better skillshot dodges and less likely to lose vision of your character mid fight.

Not sure if he full locks or just holds onto spacebar for long ass time. I've seen dyrus use it occasionally but for shorter periods of time.
