Pre 6 Akali is not particularly hard to manage but post 6 it feels like I can't even get near her or the minions unless I bait for my jungler. Am I doomed to just push and try to roam or is there some trick I can use to handle her? I would assume there is not but maybe some experienced tf player can help me? Technically I can safely farm but I wanna know if there is anyway for me to actually turn the match up into my favor

I seriously think Riot's match making algorithm has some bugs.

Would that not help? is the effect that big though? When a champion wins 55% of the time, that champion is OP. You can get the same effect just by being on the blue side. In any case, to verify what you said, I need to collect more data and plot the blue side win % per champion. It is possible that champions with more skillshots are more heavily affected by the blue side.

I don't expect win % per champion to be any different.

It probably has to do with a number of things. Vision angle could be one of them, but it's definitely not the only one. EDIT: One thing of note is that viewing angle as a source of imbalance does not only exist on Summoner's Rift. If you wanted to look at the effect of viewing angle in isolation, we coincidentally have a game mode that is played on an otherwise symmetrical map, but is subject to viewing angle-based imbalance (ARAM).

So unless this changed or is disabled in OFA, the effect is actually even more dramatic because Riot is already trying to correct for it. It probably has to do with a number of things. I know if you start a game and don't interfere most times blue takes an inhibitor first just from the natural wave movements.

Every single MMR checker estimates a roughly 30 mmr gap between teams. This is less than a 2 win gap and in no way is enough to make up for 5-6%.
