All in all, the war may be over, but on this day the struggle is neverending.
(Current one is a duo-top game with 2 kids flaming each other. At least I don't think I'd have the same type of griefing twice, they're keeping it fresh.)
FOR FUCK'S SAKE. Fucking goddamn EUW. Well actually I'm not sure if it's EUW, or Vi's Q usual glitches, but it's getting annoying having Q fizzle out without doing anything, not even the movement. ... and just now I got one ghosting through the enemy Twitch and his 100 HP. So, yeah, that's not her Q being bugged to hell for once. EUW pls.

I hardly play much league these days and every odd game I do play has a bunch of people flaming each other. I've instead being playing a lot of CSGO with mates and haven't come across much flaming. In fact this may be some cognitive bias but it feels like "moba" games just have so much more angry people in it than other games. I just never type these days since making it known that you can type just seems to lead to more problems than it's worth. Even my days playing dota has less flame but then I did always play in at least a 2 man stack.

Oh man the rate at which happy banter goes into flaming is insane. The game I played yesterday had guys saying nice things to each other to flaming within 10 minutes. This is all while we were both up in kills and towers. I think what's happened is that people are preemptively flaming. They have had too many experiences with being flamed so now where there is a remote change that another party may become upset with them they immediately go on the offensive.
Don't really know what you can do to stop this. Maybe if you remove all forms of communication for some time eventually people will stop being so aggressive. I actually had a huge discussion with my mate on skype about how often times he'll press an issue when someone is being an idiot and I'll just leave it since i know it will do nothing but inflame the situation.

I have not played CSGO before, but I think in that game you don't become invincible after getting some kills, do you?
In LoL a single bad teammate can lose you the game due to snowballing. You don't really get that in fps.

We somehow managed to win, because their Twitch either was very bad, or trolled (also Pantheon and me managed to explode fed LB at the start of the last fight).
But the game started with Twitch's passive taking Nautilus' blue buff, then I stole his red, his wraith camp (save a little wraith), then his big golem... when he showed up bot lane for a gank he was level 4 when I was 5. These "jungle comeback" mechanics are so ridiculous... ._.

In cs if someone just runs out and dies every round the you have less collective HP, less firepower, less vision (you will either have to defend less routes and hope enemy doesn't take the one you abandon, or leave less people to defend open spaces and hope that enemy won't just 5-man it. It's all the same, in league you can just avoid the fed player and get fed yourself.

Yes, ybut you can more or less perform the same yourself.
Your performace is affected in lol when the fed enemy jungler decided to gank you 24/7... and the ganks work because your teammate fed him 6 kills.

In CS you can get sandwiched every round because enemies recognize you as a threat and your shitty teammates don't watch entrances allowing enemies to flank you. And there is in fact a snowball mechanic - if you lose a round then you get less cash than if you win, so winners get better weapons, so even if you take 4 enemies yourself, if the 5th kills you the enemies will have more cash for nades and armor.
Of course number-wise it will always work differently in a shooter compared to a game with XP and gold, but I'd argue that overall a bad teammate will fuck you the same in any team game.

I like flaming, it makes the game more fun cuz there are now 'storylines'. The only thing that makes me go sad panda is when you get chat restricted and you feel like a mute -.-

I certainly hope you're not serious. And if you are, then you're a bloody fool. (I put that in Londonland speak for you)

How significant are those Jarvan tweaks? Will he actually be used?

I posted this in the All Stars thread but probably better here. This is more of a general question, but I feel that top laner runes vary so much on the matchup that it's better to use concrete examples.
Does anyone know what runes/masteries the top laners (Shyv and Irelia) and supports (Thresh and Karma) are running? This is in reference to OMG vs Fnatic in all stars.
I just came back after a ~3month break and am not familiar with a lot of the changes, including runes. Thanks!

Whenever I'm in need of runes I check the "K League" fanpage on Facebook, guy posts KR runes and masteries used in OGN matches

Well in CS you pretty dictated by what you can afford. Sure you can get lucky rounds while being underfunded but on average if your teammates keep doing poorly you'll suffer economically and that will hinder your own play quite a bit. This is even worse when your team starts buying out of sync. You'll see one guy buy an awp while no one else can buy big so he has zero protection then proceeds to lose the awp to the enemy team. This makes the next rounds even harder as now you are giving whatever little economy your team manages to make to your enemy while losing. It's an absolutely horrible feeling.
Covering areas is also really important in CS. Losing your teammates early to dumb mistakes means you have to split attention and possibly even cover from sub-optimal locations. It's really hard to play your best when you have to continually worry about areas that should be covered already.
People often have this conception that CS is all about isolated rounds when it couldn't be further from the truth. There's a lot of momentum in the gain that isn't just mental.

My second source are the Probuilds.net if there were some recent rune changes or I'm looking for a less played champion.

The nerf to Jarvan's EQ knock-up hitbox hit him pretty hard though. This helps his laning, sure, but if you meant competitively then he's mainly a jungler. And the knock-up was, well, his utility, so even after the "utility buffs" he's overall nerfed in that regard.
Next up in the "today is a shitty day": the dc. Yay.
