The whole point is to get to D1 teams need to learn to nail down timers to get an advantage over their opponents, not download a 3rd party program.
That's the whole reason Meteos came out against Curse Voice.

Well, im glad i am not the only person that doesnt like the whole thing.
When i was very young, i started with a RL sport and i became very good at it (national level), but over time, since the sport was a young one, it was changed to make it more appealing so that more people start doing it.
It took a few years, but this sport went from having basically 5 rules to having a whole rulebook of several pages of things you can no longer do. The things they removed were skill based things to make thinjgs not as frustrating for new people.
I completely quit a few years ago after almost 15 years, because it became a stupid pathetic sport.
League is repeating the whole thing, its so frustrating.

If they do they need to be disqualified. If they don't get found out, fine. No system is perfect. They better hope they don't get found out.

I'd be willing to bet that not even pro junglers perfectly time every buff taken in their team's vision for the entire game. Dragon/Baron timers might be useless to them, but the software offers more. It might be a very marginal improvement on their game, but that's what you're looking for at that level isn't it?

Wasn't really sure where this belonged but this was the closest I could think of.
Is there anyone who wanted URF to go away? If so why?

I think he meant they already keep buff timers all the time.
Which is true (for the most part), it's part of what makes them a D1 player.
But now with Curse Voice you too can be a D1 player! Download this one app, and you can keep buff timers just like Meteos and the pros do! Without hours and hours of practice!
Unless you own a mac, then you're fucking casual who doesn't deserve to win anyway.

Wanted it to go away? I just didn't play it.
Of course, URF goes away to make room for some other future game mode, so in that sense I'm happy I guess?
Basically URF was fun for 10 games and then became tedious as fuck because everyone started becoming tryhard about it.

By that logic shouldn't have domination gone away long ago? What do you mean 'make room for' anyway?

i didn't enjoy feral flare mundo when i tried it a couple games, but i might have just been unlucky with more than my fair share of teammates dying before i even finished clearing my second buff.
i think champs without attack speed steroids or natural AS itemization suffer a lot compared to those that seem really made for the item, especially now with the increased stack requirement.

Do there exist a set of players who have D1 level mechanics but do not have D1 level timing and coordination skills?

The next joke game mode, what else? Riot will never balance the for funzies game modes and doesn't want a trillion queues so removing URF when it gets stale is the only option. Relegating it to custom games only would be a huge downgrade in player experience (I remember old ARAMs...) and people would get mad anyways.
Dominion and TT get their own balance changes. As much as people here don't care two licks about them, they're here to stay and are an entirely different category.

Yes. It was A LOT of fun. But if it had more time a "meta" would appear.
Take ARAM. Day 1 it hit like every game was 15 mins TOPS, it was bonkers. You could build anything and no one cared. You could do suicidal dives and people didn't care.
I stopped playing ARAM some time ago because all those things went away. People expect you to build normal, try your best to win (vs just having silly fun), and stall like madmen when behind. My best friend still plays a ton of ARAM and almost every game is 25+ mins, and people are treating it like Ranked ("OMG Maokai why build AP instead of tank?" "Ezreal go blue build this game, we need the kiting vs this comp", "STUPID SWAIN" [these are all quotes I saw when he played yesterday]). It's no longer a purely fun mode, but instead became an alternate mode of play.
URF would have became that, it was already becoming "Pick OP or GTFO" attitude with a great deal of players. Taking it away prevents a set meta from ever happening really.

I'm pretty sure Riot would kill Dominion tomorrow and move it into temporary rotation if it would not upset the 45 players that use it (me included in that number). They sort of screwed themselves by making it a permanent mode back when. Announcing ranked, etc.

I don't think so. that's why I'm not convinced there's any major impact that Curse Voice is going to introduced. It just adds more coordination in the lower levels where there is none. Though I definitely understand the issue people has with timers (the idea that a program is doing part of the thinking for you).

The funny thing is Curse Voice with timer feature has been announced like 3 months ago and nobody cares, suddenly people are getting upset about it.

Streamers are starting to give out beta keys and it's becoming more prominent. A lot of people just overlooked the announcement. I didn't realize it was a feature until I started seeing streamers using it.

announced is different than being implemented.
also people just looking for excuses as to why they lose. "yeah, the opponent had timer on dragon/baron and his teammates ulti, that's why I lost"
