I have screenshots of "myself" unpausing the game when i got drophacked. It does seem like the pause function is a part of the hack though. | ||

Because after 10 straight minutes of 9 people disconnecting we figured out who the 10th guy was. Here's a hint: While we all couldn't move he pushed down 3 towers. And yeah the pause thing isn't related to who's doing it. | ||

How is Irelia any better than Renekton vs Ryze? You still get poked to death, it's not like you'll magically rape him pre-6. | ||

You're supposed to basically zone yourself at level 1 because there's no way you'll get any cs without taking a Q and at least 2-3 autos, even more if you naively try to stay in range of multiple minions to finish them all. Even once the wave is under tower, Ryze can easily harass you with Qs while you last hit (and autos while you last hit ranged minions) and you're going to miss a bunch of farm if he's smart and doesn't shove. Sure, once you get sustain and level 6 you may be able to win all-ins (although you can't trade at all because his cooldowns are way shorter than your Q and E) but by then you should be at such a huge cs disadvantage, and possibly exp since he always backs first and possibly has TP, that he should still be way ahead of you. Can't possibly try to all-in and manfight him either because you'll draw minion aggro while he won't, you need some ramp up on your passive while he's ranged, and his Q has a shorter cooldown than any of your spells at levels 1-3. Add to that that he can start sapphire+2 and he'll wreck you. So, yeah, I guess a flask start would be the best (since it's more EHP than NMM+2 and dblade+pot is nowhere near enough), with a dedicated runepage to withstand the harass (got an AD, HP/level, MR, MR page, thought I'd be against Riven the one time I faced a Ryze since creating the page so I had AD/armour/MR/armour instead), ask for your jungler to come, and get whatever farm you can while building BotRK. Revert the Warden's Mail changes too, if you don't plan on building Tabi Cloth is useless now, people were crying mid because "cloth would be sold later, nuuuuuu" and got Seeker's, but facing physical champions and early lane bullies is way more frequent in the off lane. >> | ||

Cloth had Tabi, Warden's, Armguard, Thornmail. Three out of four of Cloth's buildpaths were very regularly used, whereas chain vest's build path was dominated by Sunfire. (GA & Thornmail are situational late game choices so they were rare-er than the others, while Glacial is virtually unbuilt since Gauntlet and FH suck). Granted, armguard is a bit of a outlier/decieving in the sense that it serves a very different function/role than the other items. | ||
