Also I suck. I died twice when jungler came to ignite+turrets damage (after Heimer died). I took way too much poke from the turrets, but they actively switch targets to attack you when you get into range. That's mean too. | ||

Her kit actually isn't that great. Its just a case of Riot ignoring her gapclosing/escapability/manalessness in balancing her numbers. | ||

I really don't approve of the Riven HP5 + shield change. Riot's talked before about how they want to have damage stick to Riven and have her depend on good shield usage to deal with damage, yes. However, this hit to her HP5 is so great that playing her will be less intuitive. Every champion in the game has base health regen. You play your champion with the expectation that they're going to regenerate health over time, and your decisions may be affected by that. Gutting Riven's HP5 means that when players make those decisions, they'll expect that Riven's health will gradually regenerate when in fact, it only heals a near negligible amount. It's a hidden weakness that only Riven will have, and only experienced players will know about. | ||

Apparently the reset has helped my MMR though, since I ended S3 at Bronze 1 and Preseason at Silver 5, with my MMR being around Silver 2/3, still around tha MMR, but there are more Golds that I'm getting into now, going to try and finish the placements tomorrow/next day ^^ | ||

On release I think Riven had absurdly high HP5, eventually they brought her down to be fairly weak on regen as she is now (bottom third of all champions, #2 lowest melee after Rengar), but damage still doesn't stick to her at all, so they take it a step further. Not sure what alternatives there are other than big shield nerfs which make her less flavorful and skill-oriented (assuming spamming all your skills all the time is a skill). I'd really like to see nerfs to Hydra sustain, it's totally absurd on champions with innate lifesteal (mostly looking at Lee). Healing from 1/3 to full while the other champion hits you because you're in the enemy minions is outrageous. | ||
