I mean CDR is a decent stat on mundo, you guys are way too critical, it's not an item you often see but its sub optimal not terrible.

it's probably bad against kog maw because his % hp is magic damage so getting it other banshees or w/e probably wouldn't make sense cause they probably have an AP mid at least and AP Damage support and possibly jungler

Randuin's, Sunfire, Thornmail, Warmog's. I'd get all of these before FH. CDR is very much a secondary stat for Mundo who benefits off 1-2 skills. Compare FH on a champion like Olaf. It's not even close.
Slayer is being too kind here. Unless you are somehow playing against a 5 AD comp in solo q, FH on Mundo is simply too fringe of a situation to consider.

Well it depends. If the AP champion on the other team is an assassin, he might prefer to attack someone who is not Mundo (with R and Spirit Visage).

The thing is sufficiency asked a question as if buying frozen heart was a good idea and people are far too eager to jump in when they know they're right and shit on someone who isn't when it doesn't lead to valuable discussion, and although there's lots of reasons you shouldn't get it on mundo, it's not a landslide victory for other items, and what's the breakeven champ that its worth getting it on?
for example at 6 items with perma red pot it may be worth selling sunfire for frozen heart against a maxed out adc.
cleaver scales off max hp and cleaver CC becomes stronger lategame when everyone has so much damage slowing someone can ensure a death.

Frozen Heart would be a good item on Mundo against a team of autoattackers who have no source of magic dps or true damage and a low amount of up front physical spell burst
