The Recolor skins can also be bought with 200 gems, and the Golden skins can be bought with 400 gems. However, not advised since you can buy them with Favor.

Req's Rundown/Thoughts -Sprint nerf is warranted. Still a good choice, but not going to be instantly bought on everyone. -Don't think the Ward sight nerf was necessary, but also not that big of a change I think. -The Kali buff is pretty nifty. I think she could use a bit more to become top tier, but this is a really nice QoL buff. -Scylla buffs are... honestly idk I haven't played her at all and she isn't highly picked in my games. They seem like nice buffs but I don't know if they were necessary. -I like this iteration of Zhong changes more than the other one. Being able to stun out his ult will be nice, but it did need a nerf from the pre-change version. Might spend a bunch of Gems to get the Tyr VP/skin and maybe Baka VP/Feaster Bunny.

The “HiRezTroll” Icon, featuring trollface HiRezBart, is priced at 64 gems. When purchased, you will also receive 1 gem. lol

How would you skill/build Odin?

Building him depends on what you want to do, what the enemy team is like, who you're laning against, etc. Largely, though, you build him with Qin's Sais and some defensive items, perhaps grabbing some pen if you want to do more damage later. As a support, you should get HoG3 and Leviathan asap, and as a jungler you can even grab Heartseeker early if you get ahead. In the solo lane (which he can do as well, but doesn't as much in the meta), you grab a defensive item based on your lane opponent and then go from there. Thanks to his jump/slow/ult, you don't necessarily need to rush for boots on him either. As for actives, HoG is pretty much a must in every lane (jungle/support is normal for those roles, solo for pushing and laning power), the secondary can be Blink for more ganking prowess, or Sprint or Curse for sticking to targets. Skill order can vary, but the most common one is 3 - 1 - 3 - 2 - 4 into 4 > 3 > 1 > 2. However, support Odin can max 2 over 1 for the free damage and tower killing potential.

Recently (last couple months), there has been a shift in the meta where supports roam around to mid camps and help fights there. This is largely what has spawned the warrior support meta, and Odin is incredibly well suited for it.

I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing. While vision control should be a proponent of the game, the smaller size really puts an incentive on proper placement and other people warding. You can still ward all entrances to FG/GF with 2-3 wards like previously, so I think it's fine.

In my limited experience thus far, Odin rarely sees any play in pubs and his kit seems solid, but doesn't look as OP as the numbers suggest. The rest of the pick/bans more or less match up with what I've experienced thus far and my personal take on gods, but Odin being so highly valued is weird to me. How would you skill/build Odin? His ult + attack speed buff is pretty awesome just realized he's the J4 of Smite

I think the issue was that I was seeing Odin played mostly as the solo where he has a hard time clearing effectively without running into huge mana issues even with blue. Yeah, solo lane meta has changed a LOT recently, and it's not surprising that people aren't necessarily keeping up (I personally hate solo just cuz idk how to do it anymore). There were huge HoG nerfs, and most solos now tend to be mages and/or hard pushers. Also, teleport nerf ~2 months ago means that warriors without good sustain can't just clear 2 waves, blue pill home, TP back and resume.

That said, solo queue is solo queue. You can play nearly anything in solo lane and do well if you know the character and are willing to play at a disadvantage if necessary. I've had a lot of success playing Nu Wa solo despite her being "bad", just because I know her matchups pretty well.

Every time I see him in pubs he just completely wrecks face yet whenever I visit Reddit the complaints/discussions are never about him. Chaac's probably my most hated god in the game atm. He can build near pure damage, hit like a fucking truck, and still have like 2 health bars with his stupid heal.
