Even when he's got a big score on one of them his team is losing hard so it's not like he was snowballing and stomping. | ||

Like, if you're playing Cass, you know how to do the vast majority of what he did, and you do it regularly. It always bugged me seeing Cass or Viktor plays on Protatomonster top 5 plays, cuz it was always like "ok, I do that on a regular basis". Sure, it looks cool, probably more so to people who don't play these champs, but it's mostly SOP. | ||

It felt like the enemies kept running in a straight line and didn't even make an effort to dodge the Qs... She has no issues chasing people down when they go in a straight line, that's almost always a certain kill if they have no jumps or a flash. When you deal with a dodger or when you get fought back against(with CC which they will have almost all the time), that's when there'll be issues. Up to 3 minutes, no impressive plays. It's more that people have no clue how much dmg Cassiopeia deals and just do stupid things than the Cassiopeia player being impressive. Actually many of these "highlights" have numerous mistakes performed by the Cassiopeia player... The last penta was well played, the only real highlight from what I could see | ||

I partially agree with this, in the sense that I used to play a lot of Cass and that IS what every Cass player should in theory be able to do in order to play the champion as she's supposed to be played. The fact remains that the way the game is played right now she is inherently MORE difficult to play well and DO well, so while the plays in that video don't appear impressive to anyone who plays Cass or even don't look particularly flashy to the people who don't, the plays definitely ARE impressive. I think the problem with things like 'Top 5 Plays' or Lee videos is that just by nature of their kits there are many champions where regular or slightly impressive plays look WAY more impressive to the average viewer than a really good flash Vik Laser or something. I mean, specifically in the case of the really good Lee players I think the impressiveness of the plays is conveyed really well because not only does it LOOK impressive when they do something cool, but knowing what keyboard input and game knowledge/predictive ability is required to make some of those plays adds to the fact that many of the plays are truly only things that truly skilled players can do. | ||
