They're drafting it with teamcomps it sucks for, and banning incorrectly for it (banning Ahri when support Annie crushes Ahri really hard, while leaving things that support Annie hates to go against like Ori and Liss in the pool--though the other team never picks them because their understanding of it is equally poor).

Could TSM have bought out C9? Not really drama, TSM X C9 being "1 organisation" is the worst kept secret in the NA scene. I think Leena already commented in the reddit thread that all parties are fine with this. Dan wasn't really TSM's coach in s3 anyway. More of a housekeeper/babysitter who did his own thing on the side. Afaik Jack (c9 Manager & owner) is also regi&Dan's brother in law. Only questionable thing is why Alex Penn was released, but since nobody is an C9 insider here we don't know how good his work as an analyst really was. Personally I always thought of him as that guy who got a little famous through Travis' show for being someone who watches a lot of asian scene ( and no european scene to their demise hehe ![]() Anyway even before c9/quantic played CoL for the relegation match they were regarded as one of the strongest NA teams and expected to place high in the summer split so I doubt Penn had a big impact. Btw good to hear that TSM decided to recruit a full time coach. Will be interesting to see him interact with Regi :D

It would be nice to see more options allowed for boot upgrade selections, as homeguards is just the always get upgrade in near 100% of the time. Point of homeguards was to make it easier to defend, not sure that it is needed with all these changes.

But the problem is that this is now coming to the public's attention, and the LCS rules say that an organization can only have 1 team at a time in the LCS. So Riot might have to address this if people complain enough

Again, that's an incredibly loaded statistic because most top-level Korean teams get an un-throwable advantage before they even attempt an inhib push to begin with. But yes, this is a good change. The idiocy of the rule is most well-illuminated in LPL more than in LCS, where multiple teams basically created their own organizations to ostensibly break official association with their sister teams for the purpose of joining LPL.

I dunno about that, we see objectives like inhibs getting forced with only 3-4k gold difference. It's unthrowable because Koreans don't throw, not because the gap is too big before they do it.

I see the same picks from before, except now Kass is banned and Elise isn't banned as much. Also did support Annie become a thing? Did people not realize that she sucks bot lane? Probably the only big changes in the past 3 weeks is Nidalee has risen in popularity again in a poke/siege composition. Annie support is a thing, mainly due to flash R + stun. She requires a ton of communication in bot lane and honestly only the pros should be doing it, as if I see it in a solo q game I tend to just win the lane hardcore by simply not getting hit by Annie's spells pre-6. As for the changes talked about in the reddit thread, the only one I'm questioning is the jungle spawn changes. Maybe it's just me, but I think how the jungle spawns are right now seem pretty balanced. Though if there's going to be a 4th jungle camp added in, they might need to tweak the spawn timers a bit with that 4th camp added in.

having an advantage is not only about how much gold you're ahead by. Game time, comps, team positioning all make a huge impact, and Koreans are very good at spotting those advantages and pushing objectives when all those factors give them the so called "un-throwable" advantages.

The dirty secret of S3 is that, played correctly, its just a faster version of CLG.EU vs. WE.

The team-wide gold for destroying turrets is going down, but the gold given to the players directly responsible for destroying turrets is going up So what happens when minions get the turret kill? Last person who hits it gets the gold? Also I approve of a lot of these changes.

The dirty secret of S3 is that, played correctly, its just a faster version of CLG.EU vs. WE. I mean, CLG.EU vs. WE focused much more on lane farming iirc (as did most of S2), while S3 was about quickly taking objectives and pushing those advantages as soon as they were available. That's very different to me. Of course, maybe you mean that eventually both "metas" result in taking turrets, Baron, and Nexuses, in which case I agree but you didn't say anything? tl;dr Elucidate pls
