Tbh, he's an ok adc, but so dependant upon items and his kit working that its hard to justify using him, especially when most of his skills lock him in place to cast them. I don't remember who was saying this, but if his W was castable while moving he'd be ok, cause at least then you can W > double tap AA > R+E > W > double tap AA and deal good damage. He's always good though. No really bad matchups, no state of the game where he falls behind, and really high damage in teamfights. The fact that his ult allows him to ALWAYS do damage in fights, plus his really high base damage and kiting potential, means that he puts out a LOT of damage. Item dependency is universal for ADCs. He does lack the utility that a lot of other ADCs bring, and he lacks a lot of poke, but he's still really strong. He also has a powerful Triforce timing. Every time I pick lucian I ask myself:Why didn't I pick something else?He is so mediocre and gets pooped on so hard by vayne/cait/trist.

low level MMR / ELO game
possibly stupid question
as ADC, should I focus on CS or go help the team when the other team is grouping up especially when my team likes to engage 4v5 or worse?
I think in higher MMR / ELO games players are able to defend tower 4v5 without going crazy correct?
asking because I finished a game with the most gold accumulated and was far ahead of the other ADC but still ended up losing

Well no $100 bills are going to be eaten today.

if u are very behind, just push the wave to their tower and join up ur team. If u are kinda same condition or better than their adc, join up ur team asap

not unless they dive super hard and ur teams have lots of shield/disengage.

Like someone else already said, there's certain ADCs that he just seems to suck against. Caitlyn outranges him and her Q is arguably better than his Q. Vayne should stomp on him in skirmishes in the laning phase (assuming you have a competent support/jungler). Like the only ADCs I can think of him beating in the laning phase is Ezreal, maybe Varus, and possibly Ashe. Otherwise he should be breaking even with CS with the opposing ADC, and if the enemy ADC scales better than him you're just boned assuming ideal circumstances. cause all you'll be able to do is ult and weaken the front line of the opposing team or maybe help chase some people down after a team fight if you're still alive.

I need to pick up a solid fp mid. Right now I have anivia (too vulnerable to counterpicks) and kassadin (same, and he's also banned in like 80% of games)
Who should I learn? I don't main mid, so I don't want games where I have to be mid be auto-losses. Learn Ap Sion :D Get double Dring Mobi Boots and clear and roam bot for double kills. EZ PZ. Sion wrecks every elo from bronze to plat. Haven't done him much in diamond yet. "I got carried a lot in every elo from bronze to plat" hue Welp time to get "carried" to D1 then Challenger.

follow up question for low ELO / MMR
if team jungler or any team member that has not been performing well but wants to go for a risky tower dive or chase a target through river / enemy jungle without ward coverage, do I follow them on it and hope for the best or do I leave them on their Dora the Explorer expedition into possible death?

Check mini map, if you see all the laners in place, then follow, if nearby lane is MIA, ignore him.*
*also depend on how much minion you'd be losing to do invade.
Quantic can't even beat ggLA >.> Things looking grim for them.

Depends. If you're tower diving, generally don't do it unless there are no MIAs and the target is 1-2 autos from dead. If the dive requires properly sharing tower aggro, it's usually not a good idea. If you're going for a buff or something, you can usually go if you have wards to cover yourself or you are fairly ahead, but it's more situational than that. Either way, if you decide not to go, tell the jungler through spam pings or chat. He might be salty short term, but you're saving the possibility that he goes anyway, he would have been safe with your help, but he dies without it. Which, even though unlikely ex ante, is rage-inducing ex post.

These casters have no idea what to think about top lane Hecarim.
They really should have acted more excited. Good casters go wild when oddball/niche picks happen.

Talon ban? Did I miss something last game?

They recreated the lobby because a Master Yi pick was actually Thresh. Bans second time around were meaningless.
Edit: I just muted the casters. Wtb casting golems.
Edit2: Gunza is a freaking god with his flay timings.
Edit3: Unfortunately Apple is a dirty feeder and the game's snowballing against Quantic because of it.

Don't really see him that different from a top lane Shyvana. Similar roles, similar team fight abilities. Definitely oddball.
