Why are they doing anything in the first place. It's the end of the season with season 4 coming up next so why change a champ that has had zero changes in the first place instead of waiting. Meh I don't get Riot staff at all | ||

Basically I pointed out some strategies that can work / be viable in a pub environment and argued about what makes them good and then got banned for 1 week for that. So in addition to the inhouse experiences I certainly haven't had good experiences with the section... Either way, I believe that the modnote indeed is passive-aggressive. I cannot recall seeing anyone in here go like "lol dotanoob" when they call champions heroes or turrets towers... I just see them ignore it and talk about the point itself, because you can understand precisely what they meant. If anything, they should embrace people who are coming from LoL to DotA instead of shoo-ing them away. How are they looking to grow the community properly otherwise? It just makes no sense to me and gives a really bad vibe, especially when combined with the numerous people posting LoL hate comments, and it certainly is more than just 2 odd men out unless they have severely decreased in amount during the recent months. Ahri's W and R are basically cast-while-moving animation-less point'n'click nukes as far as their mechanics are concerned (there's an Ahri montage in the pic/vid thread where he doesn't react fast enough and Ws after his enemy gets out of range, he just flashes and immediatly starts walking away, getting barely in range so the fox fires automatically get the kill for him), so maybe they want to make them require a bit more thought to land their damage? At least they acknowledge that Fizz and Zed burst so fast you can't do much (without cc-ing/exhausting Zed right when he reappears, though, there's that). | ||

Shikyo as Numy said it was about you trying to argue that PA farms faster then AM with a Bfury(No, having observer wards scouting out the camps so that you can Blink strike them still doesn't make it worth it). Lets say it was Medusa instead then it still doesn't make it any less stupid and it would just make the thread shit up the thread a ton again. | ||

The whole gameplay of Ahri is "land taunt, vomit damage", basing her damage on landing taunt first is like encouraging Tryndameres to attack before he can crit. -_- | ||

I would also get sad if Neo decided DotA discussion was banned from this subforum. Imo, DotA/LoL comparisons are interesting and help you understand why both games are played out the way they are. Shitty topic btw, guess stuff like this is what gets topics banned. | ||

Then there is the entire faction of Dota2 players that used to think LoL's fan base was fabricated and their stream views on twitch were fake. It really feels like not a single prominent member within the Dota2 community has a positive view of LoL. In fact most of the time it seems as though the Dota2 community pursues ideas just so they can be different from how LoL does things, regardless of how effective the idea may be. I don't think Riot is perfect, but god am I glad we have Riot over Valve. | ||
