Team Mineski Assaulted

Chexx

Team Mineski was assaulted not once but twice! The first assault happened between 11:45 and 12:30 KST and the second one was only one hour later. Both groups were five man strong and wore Gang hoodies/shirts. Team Mineski suffered bruises and broken bones. If you have any information please contact the Police Force of Summoners Rift.

Chobra and Eunnarae = <3 ??

Chexx

It was reported that Chobra was a little bit cold when he was together with Eunnarae. Was it because he was naked with her? Our intensive research and detective work gathered that both have the same family name…. Are they married?! Our Celebrity experts know more.

Gambit Win Too Late to Save European Lives

Flicky

Gambit’s victory over SG Ozone on Day 1 came too late to save the lives of multiple European fans who took Fnatic’s loss to Vulcan to heart. The EU fans were so distraught at their region’s loss to an NA team that multiple barcrafts were reported to have drunk poisoned punch to “end the suffering”. The late broadcast time for the games in Europe is being held to blame for the tragedy. Experts say that if Gambit’s win over the Koreans was shown earlier in the schedule at a time more suitable for Europeans then this loss of life could have been avoided. Riot Games has yet to comment about the fatal schedule.

Doublelift shot?!

Chexx

According to witnesses Doublelift was victim to shots fired by MonteCristo. It was a normal discussion about the games when suddenly MonteCristo fired on Doublelift. His health condition is stable but it is unsure if he can recover by tomorrow. It is highly expected that MonteCristo will flee back to best Korea once the tournament is over.

Ozone secret doping Food?

Reason why Ozone lost against Gambit Gaming

Chexx

After bad performances of Samsung Galaxy Ozone many fans wondered what happened to the best team in the galaxy. In the first match against Vulcun they were behind in gold early, but managed to turn it around. But in their second game against Gambit Gaming they showed another weak performance which cost them the game. Was it a lack of respect from Ozone? Perhaps, considering the Ozone players are like six Dr. Manhattans (Dr. Gangnams?) compared to their mere mortal competitors.
Since we know that our life is in perspective of Mr. Manhattan is pretty boring and not really important it is safe to assume that for Mr. Gangnam’s should be the same.

But Imp gave us indirect the real reason. The bad fast food of America and the missing comfort of the traditional Korean Yo beds led to a huge skill decrease and lack of concentration. Which was clearly visible in both games of the best team in the galaxy. In the old MVP Teamhouse our six little QT’s got fresh cooked food made with love from Coach Im or the house Ajumma.
Luckily for all Samsung Galaxy Ozone fans the team reacted and Coach Im is already in LA to hopefully cook some delicious Ddeok mandu guk, Bibimbap and Ramen for Imp and Co. With this Ozone should find their old strength and destroy the other “competition” at Worlds 2013 without any problems and secured the trophy for best team in the galaxy.

But once SGO returns to South Korea and Coach Im needs to take care of the MVP Dota 2 squad. Hopefully big brother Homme can step into Coach Im/ Lovely Ajumma steps and cook delicious meals for his little brothers.

Seen: This is how Coach Im cooked to get the extra portion skill into the food

Bullshit. The Wriggles Lantern is a trashy tabloid with no journalistic standards whatsoever, and their political affiliations are quite clear.

This must the first time he is so much in the spotlight on the OGN TV broadcast, no? For LoL I mean. The only other thing I can remember was casting couch at Allstars but that's was probably a bit less exposure for him as a person, because people mainly heard his voice.

I like how they're using him for interviews on the main broadcast now, too. It seems like they tested the waters regarding this with the latest OSL season where he did interviews alongside Barbie, which was really cool already. Good to see them carry it over to the LoL content.

Yes he was at the finals at Gamescom for that and I think his first SC2 appearance also was the S1 WCS finals in Korea, where he did that awesome casting couch with Day9 and Apollo and some pro players. Since that the SC2 community is also in love with him, rightfully so.

MonteCristo: Fashion God

Chexx

Day 2 of the World Championship is already finished and we’ve had a few dates with the analyst desk. Doublelift and Krepo wore their normal Team Jerseys and not the expected e-Sports dollar suits with huge EG and CLG bling while Kobe and Quickshot donned their standard Riotcaster wear. However, MonteCristo looked fabulous the first two days. Rocking a sweet red tie with a black shirt and on the second day, those braces. This man knows how to style. Or does he? Rumours say OGN style lady picks the clothes for him. Our hot prediction? A bowtie by the end of the week.

Fangirls angry at Mineski

Chexx

Famous Korean Boyband “Exo” have come under fire for the behaviour of their fans after the girls found out that team Mineski has a player called Exo. The fans were reportedly curious about this player and opted to cheer for his team. On the discovery of the results, the fan girls sprang into action and stormed the Philippine Embassy in Seoul on the grounds of “intentional slander” as something negative was being affiliated with their beloved boyband. They immediately demanded a name change from Mineski’s ADC. The Philippine government have yet to respond.

GGEU Fans Angry about Group Placement

Flicky

Riot has been facing criticisms from GGEU fans saying that they team should’ve been placed in Group B to keep in with the spirit of competition. Fans have claimed that GGEU would have faced a much better shot in Group B and “have at least scored a couple of victories” for the international wildcard winners. “Being seeded into Group B would’ve at least meant two wins against SG Ozone” claim fans.

Fans More Interested in Caster Predictions

Asmodeus

A new eSport is rising according to some attendees of the S3 World Champions. "We came for the LoL," said community leader Rufus Schwinn, "but we find the Caster Prediction competition to be far more compelling." An anonymous fan claimed "Honestly, I'm pretty sure the Caster Competition is more mechanically challenging than LoL. It really presents a higher level of play." The Caster Competition subreddit already sees more traffic than r/starcraft2 and is slated to receive a TL subforum in the coming week.

The situation in Group B

Europe steers to Victory

Chexx

After a rough start in Group B (as reported in yesterday’s edition of The Sightstone the european teams came out swinging. The initial loss of Fnatic against Vulcun was blamed on Fnatic’s sleep schedule by Fnatic’s manager: “We were quite surprised that the game started while it was obvious that it is Siesta time.” Both European powerhouses Gambit Gaming and Fnatic managed to beat the group favorite Samsung Galaxy Ozone convincingly. Our insiders at the venue say that Ozone’s iffy play and demoralized look has a cause:.
Reports say that Ozone ran into the Russian translator in a dark alley and emerged “shaken and pale”.

Meanwhile fans all over Europe were out celebrating since word of Gambit’s victory spread to those waking up. After a few hours, celebrations had brought the continent to a stand-still. Reports say the few LoL fans with careers did not show up to work while the largest street party in Cologne’s history started when a lorry carrying barrels full of beer tipped over sending itswares all over the road. Fortunately, no Europeans were hit. It has also been reported that some Fnatic fans were taken to hospitals
after they backtracked into rivers and holes while others suffered serious injuries climbing onto vehicles carrying celebrating musicians.

The European Union is already concerned due to fears that if this continues, the already shaky european economy may crumble and fall, leading to a triple dip recession. Politicians are planning to outlaw VoDs of League of Legends during the World Championships but they fear the social backlash and rioting it may cause. The question is how long will this European Party continue? And what would be the effects if Europe lose?

Lemondogs: Zed still OP

Asmodeus

Lemondogs apologized to their fans last night after their loss against TSM, stating that "a momentary lapse in sanity" caused them to pass on banning Zed, allowing TSM's popular manager to feel more justified in picking him so many times before. "It's really just that no one's played against a Zed in so long... we all thought, how bad could it be?" stated Lemondog's mid-laner nukeduck. "Turns out, pretty bad." Lemondogs said they'd be certain to force a Twisted Fate or Fizz pick against TSM next time, citing as their reason what they referred to as "The Reginald Effect.

Reginald still hiding

Chexx

As we all could see in the highly anticipated TSM vs. SKT T1 match was that leader Reginald has no qualms about sacrificing his own henchman to save his own life. In many teamfights he escaped with little to no health left while his underlings protected him with their life. On his retreat spectators saw him crying and muttering “Thanks Bros for having my back.” According to rumours he is still hiding from Faker.

GG.EU kills Faker More Times Than OMG, Demands Trophy

Asmodeus

After their loss last night, Worlds spectators spotted GG.EU cheering and partying as they screamed "WE KILLED FAKER!!!" at the top of their lungs. Before they proceeded to their recently-ordered limosine, mid-lane Mazzerin said "C'mon, just give us a Championship Trophy. It was really a moral victory for wildcard teams everywhere." As of this morning, no one has seen or heard from GG.EU, though Sightstone sources in the hotel report that their room's bill lists copious amounts of "hookers" and "blow."

SKT T1 - Hope for Korea

Chexx

The management of SKT T1 looked pleased after the team was able to gather two important victories and securing 2nd place in their group are in an advantageous position to advance into the quarterfinals. This strong performance gave Korea hope that they still have a chance for the World Championship 2013 Trophy. SKT 1 is famous for their famous starcraft player Flash.

Dade clashes with police

Xes

Samsung Galaxy Ozone was in chaos Tuesday when their coach could not find dade to bring the team together to practice. "He claimed he was extremely jet-lagged after Monday night's matches so we let him sleep in. But when I went to wake him up with his favorite breakfast items, he was no where to be found!" exclaimed a hysterical Coach Im. "We looked everywhere and eventually had to call the police."

The team was shocked to discover that dade was being held in a local detention cell, following a run-in with the police. Since his arrival in LA, dade had been visiting very popular karaoke bars. Sources indicate that upon arrival, the T1 and Ozone players went out into the nightlife of LA to check the different bars, clubs and Karaoke places out.
Both teams thought that a more detailed preparation was not necessary because they are on a different skill level. After Group A Day 2 Faker acknowledged in an after game interview that they underestimated their opponents. While SKT quickly realized that they had to go back to practicing, dade kept returning to one particular bar. Said one bar owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, "dade has been coming here a lot trying to impress the girls. He will usually buy everyone a round of drinks and say something like 'I am a progamer. You don't believe me? Watch my match in 30 minutes!'" When asked why he was in the bar before a match, dade responded "The best way to learn a new champion is to be that champion. I am learning Gragas."

However, Monday night was different. UCLA student Stephanie Lee recounts, "He came in crying and reeking of alcohol. He kept repeating 'Yoomay' so I believe he was distraught over the loss of a girl." But after his fifth pitcher of somaek, dade became belligerent. "He started arguing with an imaginary person next to him, saying nonsense things like 'Ryze is still a top tier pick.' Eventually the owner had to ask him to leave." When dade would not exit the establishment, the police were called to forcibly remove him.

The Ozone team has not commented on whether dade would continuing playing following the episode. However, sources from within the team say that Homme has returned to Top lane and they are practicing compositions involving Mid lane Singed.

Relationship problems?

Chexx

As we all know MonteCristo was hired by Riot for the Analyst desk together with Krepo and Doublelift. But why did he leave his longtime casting partner DoA. Does our beloved OGN duo have problems in their relationship? MonteCristo who already spend a lot of time together with Doublelift because he is the coach of clg and nobody can deny the chemistry between MonteCristo and Doublelift when they are on screen. They are necking each other like a new couple. Additionally DoA found a new casting partner. Together with Artosis he is producing a new show about Hearthstone. Are there serious problems in their casting marriage or is it just business? We will find out after Worlds 2013 ends.

Riot Accidentally Broadcast Games At 9pm

Flicky

After a massive organisational hiccup, Riot accidentally broadcasted multiple games of Worlds at 9pm Central European Summer Time, allowing European fans to tune in and watch their teams play. The glitch in scheduling reportedly arose internally and Riot are seeking out those responsible. “This is in excusable” explained RiotMagus, “these times are not perfect for our North American audience and some of those that sleep in may have missed a couple of games.” A European human rights group who have been rallying for the move, claimed that they will not rest until every human has a fair chance to watch the games. When asked about how east Asian fans will watch the games, the group refused comment.

4th Model of Rivington Line

Flicky

Acclaimed inventor Mitchell Matthieson announced at a press conference in Silicon Valley that the new Rivington Model 4 will be ready for the next season of the League of Legends Championship Series. Featuring “thousands more” commentary based collocations; the machine is reported to create casting phrases much more seamlessly than before. The new “Riv” will be able to more accurately follow play and even make “almost correct” strategic comments about what it sees according to the following press release. Matthieson Industry share holders were reportedly “hoping for a complete reboot” after hearing the news.

The Grand Prize illusion

Samsung stock expected to rise after Ozone….Oh wait.

Chexx

It’s well known that Samsung was eager to get into the League of Legends market in Korea. They thought that by buying the poorest League of Legends team in Korea which was successful they can reach the world stage. The higher ups at Samsung were already rubbing their hands while thinking about how much exposure worldwide the Galaxy Smartphone would receive when they won Worlds 2013. But the performance of Ozone hit rock bottom right when Worlds started. Instead of the expected rise, the Samsung stock fell harder than ever before. Many sad League of Legends fans felt ashamed to be Samsung Galaxy Ozone fans after having bought Samsung equipment to support their favorite team and returned it and bought Apple or HTC products instead.

Samsung immediately started an investigation with the Secret National e-Sports Division (SNSD), which is controlled by the president of South Korea.
Teamliquid were passed the results of the investigation by an informant who does not want to reveal his identity. The results were shocking news for the League of Legends community. As it turns out North Korea abducted Dade shortly after the end of the Summer Season. He was only gone for a day but it was enough that the newest brainwashing methods in North Korea were successful. North Korea goal was to sabotage the exposure of South Korean brands and stop the success in the e-Sports scene. Some evidence points to the conclusion that North Korea plans to launch their own team in 2014 with Kim Jong un as Team captain. While Dade was with the team he was also successful to manipulate his team members into becoming obsessed with the prospect of visiting Disneyland during their stay in Los Angeles. The team’s every thought eventually became so obsessed with meeting Donald Duck and Goofy
for real that the members would skip practice to visit “The Happiest Place on Earth”. Our Source explains that this is the true reason why the members of Ozone were so happy and laughing while in their losing games because they were thinking about how good their photos from Splash Mountain (in which they snuck keyboards and montiors onto the ride and pretended to play League) were and how funny their parents will find them. Apparently Imp said backstage that they worked hard to get to Disneyland.

The SNSD is currently treating the Samsung team and tries to revert the brainwash of North Korea and return them to the beauty obsessed capitalist ways of South Korea. But the question remains if every player will return to Samsung Galaxy Ozone for the Winter Season 2013 or if they suffered too much damage while under the influence of the North Korean brainwashing.

They look a lot more intimidating than they really are because we're lazy and copy paste sections so there's always tons of unused junk in the style sheet.

Unfortunately, we were a bit slow getting this out so some of the articles had to be cut due to not being relevant any more. I just wanted to slip my one in here:

Fnatic and Gambit Prepare for Collusion Accusations

Following last night’s results, suggestions that Gambit and Fnatic will collude to allow both teams through have started to surface. The two teams were spotted holding discussions in an abandoned warehouse down at the Los Angeles docks in the early hours following Day 4’s matches. Two briefcases were exchanged between the team managers and the two teams departed in unmarked vehicles. When asked for comment the following morning, Cyanide stated: “Collusion accusations happen at every eSports event. We were merely meeting with Gambit to devise methods to avert these accusations before they are made. It was simply preparation for that.” We at The Sightstone are glad that Fnatic are acting so professionally regarding their image and we must say that their new Russian girlfriends will only help their view in the public eye.
