The argument can be made that junglers sitting in lane is partially due to ease of vision disincentivizing a ganking playstyle.

A bunch of pages back I posted a mini-rant about this exact same thing happening. Eventually I gained a whole THREE points at 97LP and entered my promo, which I won handily 3-1.

Just keep playing, and focus on improving. Keep in mind that your division is a rough reflection of your actual MMR, and that you will always be matched with players who are in the same ball-park skill level as you are, and try your best to ignore your "rank" while you play, I found that change in mentality helped me out a lot.

My inner affinity for lores in games where lores aren't really focused upon showing here.

I actually never buy oracles. I'd honestly rather buy 5 extra wards or a ruby crystal item or upgrade. Plus even if you have an oracle you still might need to purchase pinks, so I just cut out the middle man.

only time I really but Oracle in solo is to clear wards when it's clear we're getting picked off due to wards on our side of the map but I don't know where they are or in games that are basically over just to keep the pressure as high as possible.

Other than that I'd much rather buy 2 pinks one for bush behind and one for the front, if I want to secure Baron/Dragon. I should add once I have sightstone I usually buy pinks exclusively.

Oracles in solo queue seems like such a bad idea for the most part; I much rather gain zone control through pinks.

In case anyone missed it, there was a ninja patch note that the Baron debuff no longer reduces AD by 50%, but instead reduces all physical and magic damage dealt by 50%.

that's a fantastic change. i feel like the baron damage debuff is intended to make it so you can't just slice baron in seconds, not to make it a total risk if your ~~ADC~~ erm... marksman ever gets hit by him.
