I find it very boring to listen to despite understanding a good chunk of it because while they probably do analysis fine, play-by-play is exceedingly painful to listen to in mandarin. Partially has to do with the language having basically a distinct lack of simple adjectives and almost no slang. Casters could use some work as well although I'm not sure how much of it has to do with the language as a limiting factor.
From the bit of LPL I watched, "san sha, si sha, wu sha? wusha, piao liang."(3 kill, 4 kill, 5 kill? 5 kill, nice) in a almost bored voice is not particularly enticing.
I'd be very interested to hear what a cantonese cast would sound like though. Probably a whole lot more fun.

Do you know what happened to pobelter being in curse academy by any chance?

This. Pobelter is already a better player than jacky, I thought he was a lock for the main Curse team once he was old enough.
BTW on the Oceania games, god I didn't think they'd be that bad, thought immunity were a lot better than that :/ .

iirc, pobelter was too young to compete in the LCS for like a year or two.

Yeah. LCS NA Season 1 had issues for some teams like ex-GGU now Team Coast. Also the visas are going to make international events held in NA much easier because they have had problems where teams from Europe/Asia have had trouble getting visas in a timely fashion.
|
It's not so much issues as is longevity and freedom to travel. The new visas are valid up to five years for individuals and like 6-8 months for entire teams. Additionally, they are allowed to freely leave and reenter the country within that time frame. And it makes getting new visas for new teams much much easier.
So it's a win win for everyone.

I feel like the Crs Academy changes are likely due to a few things. Their results haven't been super stellar lately. FXO and Complexity both look stronger than Crs Academy and personally I think Aware is better than them too. Not that it matters because Altec and Pobelter are both too young to compete in LCS so the team can't even qualify. The changes are likely designed to make them more competitive while giving them a roster that can attempt to qualify at relegations.
Note I think that Pobelter and Altec are both better than the guys who're replacing them. I have no idea why they recruited fabbyyy. But it's still pretty obvious that Pobleter and Altec couldn't be on the team since Curse wants them to go for a spot at Season 4.

But since crs is in lcs they can't have 2 teams in lcs and I really doubt they would lose in relegation.Seems kinda pointless imo.

Didn't stop TSM from basically having two teams. Not to mention there's no guarantee Curse's main line up will stay in the LCS and they have enough money to support two teams.
From their website,
With this new roster Curse Academy will become a strong contender for a spot in LCS, and a threat to win any event. We at Curse are saddened that this will mean the departure from Curse of long time players Pobelter, and Altec. They are both amazing players, and we are confident they will have continued success wherever their competitive careers take them. The new lineup is a work in progress, but will be 100% committed to qualifying for the LCS in Season 4 and winning every amateur circuit event along the way. Curse Academy will be playing the MOBAFire Challenger Series, where they are already 2-1, and will compete in the online LCS Qualifier tournament for PAX Prime. http://www.teamcurse.net/

Is there any reason not to delete local content when you finish a game on Steam?
