We have MF AFK from lvl 1, our support Morgana is 1v2 vs Nami/Caitlyn until like 6min when MF comes back. She reconnects, goes back to lane, and after like 30s they get a double kill.
I really wonder how that was possible, didn't see it but it makes no sense. Pure 2v2 and they died mid-lane.

Meh, this is already the best thread for discussion on this entire site. I barely read any other threads anymore. I feel like it's still small enough where the people who know what they're talking about can still theorycraft and have meaningful discussions without getting lost in an ocean of idiocy and troll/spam posts.

I feel like team comp isn't usually something too talked about in GD; especially at pro levels.
And to be honest; I feel like we still do have serious league discussion, they're just not happening as often as they use to because of longer patch cycles.

Yeah, kind of like how people were saying Curse's teamfight against C9 was shit yesterday when C9 really just had a way better team fight team. Curse had a pick off comp that worked early but they didn't close out the game hard enough.

People did that with Kat+ Support Morg when Kat was still strong. Its not unexplored. Fiora is just hard to make work because of real limitations.
I dont see the point of most LOL theorycrafting though. It always ends up telling us something stupid like Heimerdinger + Morde bot is totally awesome.

I always find it weird when teams play fight comps/small skirmish comps. I feel like the trade off inability to truly initiate a 5v5 team is too great.
Also, Vulcan's Nasus jungle delayed VES's towerpushing strategy enough; while grabbing enough farm on essential carries, that eventually allowed them to beat VES. (But I also felt that it was largely in part VES's fault for trying to force the issue of shoving towers as fast as possible after seeing how strong nasus' wave clear was on top.)

Fiora feels sort of wonky; she's got two small gap closer (q twice); and her Ulti, and a move speed steroid everytime she hits someone. But I feel like it's really hard to stick onto someone with just purely auto attack. I almost feel obligated to shove in a Frozenmallet just to stick on people.

Honestly, I don't think there's too much room for theory crafting team compositions because the kits are mostly very similar to each other. Strategies like split pushing and hard initiating have happened frequently in the past, but overall I think the focus is mostly on laning and early skirmishing (like when counterjungling was popular)
