Ah k. I haven't actually played Lissandra, just looked at her spell descriptions. I've gotten the impression that her Q range is pretty short but on paper it outranges all targeted support abilities, Hymn of Valor, and Zenith Blade.
W is a really short range so it'd only be used to initiate all-ins or to peel and E out.
I guess she'd only be useful against melee supports, and even then there'd be better options. I just want another fun support vs Nunu because Consume 1-shots Zyra's plants.

There is this korean streaming site called afreecatv, that's where all the koreans stream, although there are hardly any korean progamers streaming.

It reduces an extra two damage from normal attacks... and cheaper overall (no more armor though). With masteries and Doran Shield, you reduce normal attack damage by 13... every autoattack against you in the early game does like 30 damage it's funny.

Played vs it last week vs Edward, Lizzandra support is very strong and viable but you cannot compare it to Zyra. The way he plays it is with mass roaming and clearing objectives not a stay in lane and play like Zyra, however she is strong in laningphase and has great escape and pressure. In conclusion it was extremely scary with her strong mobility to other lanes and he carried that game as support.

My random thoughts:
-He feels like Riven a lot. His ult gives him a riven like quality and your teamfighting strategy is similar, though less balls-to-the-wall.
-He's more fragile I think. He doesn't have a shield so he has to position better than Riven.
I think he's really great until mid/late game where there is higher potential for him to get burst comboed by some AP and people are harder to stick on.
-You can jungle no leash with Doran's Blade and offensive runes/masteries (19/11/0).
-His ganks with the health reservoir are about as scary as Zac's.
-BotRK seems absolutely mandatory for him.
-His E and R have "ap tryndamere" weirdass ap ratios. Gives his E ~400 magic damage every 6 seconds with nashor's tooth and deathcap. It's not much, but you can't really do anything about the poke. Max rank ult is 42 seconds with 40% cdr. You can instagib people /w QER + Deathcap or Lichbane. Only problem is late game the AP/CDR build can't sustain hp when spamming abilities.
-His Q can go over the really hard part at Top/Bot and can go into the bush for the stealth gank. It has same mechanics as flash in that it will punch through things if you make it over 50% through the collision raycast.
-W toggle or proc doesn't affect sheen.
-Mana is the only wasted stat with Trinity. It seems like a good choice on him but it's hard to work into the midgame build.
-AFAIK The health reservoir is level based and cannot be increased. It's ~800 HP at lvl 18.
-It looks like he doesnt' benefit from lifesteal on the hit from either proc of his W, which means lifesteal is technically 66% as effective on him over time.
-His W damage proc doesn't crit. Your normal attack can crit, and you'll see the W's damage pop up as well. So W is always added, never multiplied.
-You can auto immediately after landing with Q.
