What does Riot think when they nerf a champion to the point its no longer played? Do they sit back in their chairs and pat themselves on the back on a job well done? Do they just stop caring? Cuz for the most part I feel like after a major nerf and its stopped being played Riot doesn't really bother buffing it a bit. I feel like they prioritize overpowered and "problematic" champions over underpowered and obsolete champions. And there's always something overpowered so they never get to obsolete champions.
The thing is, since I stated playing pbe only like nasus off the problem new champs/r reworks was not repeatedly warned about

I normally pour myself a stronger drink then continue on. My map awareness seems to rise as well which is interesting.

Just approach games as you wanting to self-improve. (psst, 99% of your games you shouldn't be happy with) Dumb games happen and it's out of your control. If you see that you're doing better this game than last game (despite your team feeding and overall losing), be content. Don't fret about stuff outside your control.
And in terms of solo q mentality, think about what you could have done differently to pick up the slack on your team. (e.g. "should I leave lane to help my team or should I take this extra 2-3 waves of creep, push down this turret and go into the next team fight with a big item advantage")

That's... interesting.
I don't think we've seen the last of Hotshot though. Plenty of managers and subs maintain a public image while not being starters/players, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him at a lot of events or as more of a public figure for CLG/LoL eSports in general.

You have to remember you can't win them all. There will always be games where you are going to lose no matter what. Winning should never be the final goal. We get a fake rush from winning because well it feels good to achieve some short term goal but it should never be your focus. All it will do is make you miserable since as I said you can never win them all. Find something else(Self improvement is both good and bad for this. It can be rather obtuse) you find fun besides the act of winning. Once you got that it will be easier to take in the bad game and the good ones will feel a lot sweeter.
edit: The previous post was a bit of a joke. Don't take it to heart and go down that path(Think I'm borderline alchie atm, Engineering yay!).

Well dunno my ultimate goal is to actually feel content with my skill level at some point but when I can't even get to play with actual good players to find and fix problems that I can't even see because enemy or my team is bad it's annoying.I don't really care about winning or losing. My problem is when everyone is playing bad and just I feel like I can't really gain anything from this game it just feels like I am completely wasting my time.
Gotta try some strong alcohol.I play pretty well when drunk generally haha.Good thing my dad makes like 200l of rakia yearly.
edit:But normals so boring man. Also unless I go shit like ap riven games are rather boring. That's what not playing any normals does to you haha.

Reddit mods have already taken the thread down, apparently the CLG management have told them this info is untrue.
But if it is true, I can't imagine this really being an improvement. I know Aphro has never played top, has jiji ever jungled before?

And either one will play better than HSGG at the respective position.

Well, if everyone is playing bad, you should be smashing their face in pretty hard until you get better enemies/teammates. If you are not, there are a lot of things you can still learn at that level of gameplay. Usually stuff you learn at lower levels is still relevant at higher levels of gameplay, the game does not suddenly become totally different.

The PBE updated today, so I've had the chance to play around with the jungle changes. My thoughts:
- As a veteran jungler it feels really, really weird to not start at a small camp. The map feels empty until 1:55.
- Realistically speaking you can't actually do a full small camp clear in 50 seconds. Because it takes a few seconds to actually clear a camp after it spawns, you're looking at 55ish clear times for the faster junglers. But then the same applies to live, so you're still gaining roughly 10 seconds on your clear.
- Really fast junglers can now hit 6 in the 6:20-6:50 minute range, on par or better than solo lanes.
- There's a lot more wiggle room for lanes to take camps without actually stealing farm from the jungler. Any time the jungler is doing something that isn't jungling you can take far camps and they'll respawn before your jungler gets there. This is important, as most of the currently popular junglers can't clear fast enough to benefit from the change in any other way.
- New Madred's feels really good.
It's hard to give anything more than firsthand impressions because it's the PBE, renowned melting pot of all skill levels. When I jungle I basically can go legendary on Akali every game because no one wards, everyone overextends, and reaction times are measured in seconds.

I'm Irelia top vs. Vlad. I'm giving smiteless leash at blue and vlad starts pushing the lane before i get there. I just farm for a bit, letting the lane push slightly, planning on letting the wave reset at level 4 and then going aggressive. Naut does the 3:05 gank, no damage, i just back up to my tower. I have river brush warded, and naut is just gonna camp. My jungler is camping bot. Vlad shoves the wave to tower, and Naut just comes walking through lane. I back up behind tower into exp range but out of range of cs. Naut continues to just walk at me. My jungler is still bot despite me asking for help.
Do you:
- Leave tower and lose all the cs and exp. - Try to trade kills and hope to bury the junglers' buffs? - Something else I haven't thought of.
I traded kills, but I couldn't even go back to lane afterward. It became clear that I was going to die no matter what, so I tried to die before Naut (even giving up the first blood), but I died just after and Vlad got the buffs. Also, my team continued to not come top, and Vlad farmed another wave past tower. When I got back to lane, I was barely level 3, and Vlad was more than halfway to 6 with double buffs, and I couldn't do anything. I feel like that would have probably been the outcome no matter what, though. I'm just confused. Trading kills is fine. You can be really fucked in your lane, just as long as your jungler does the same to a different lane. If their jungler applies more pressure on lanes then yours, it isn't your fault that you're losing your lane. If you strictly lose 1v1, it isn't your junglers fault you're behind in your lane. If vlad is shoving, you should either shove back, pick a champion that can't get shoved in, or make sure your jungler is there to keep him off the turret. Atleast two of these options are entirely in your control, and if you picked your lane but didn't account for this possibility, it's still entirely your fault. Just so we are clear on all your responsibilities in a lane. There's no champion that can prevent being shoved to tower at level 3 once the minions start snowballing. I've had junglers who when I tell them not to gank because there's a triple wave pushing at me, tell me to start pushing back. Yeah alright I'll just start tanking these minions that hit me for 300 dmg a second, I'm sure my opponent will be nice enough to sit back and leave me be. With Purple side top often taking Wraiths/Golems, this is really common. A lot of champions can zone you off creeps when they hit level 2, and then you just have to wait because there's no way to approach the wave. You do realize that it's incredibly obvious that one player is pushing right? They auto the minions, and spam their spells. The minions don't just suddenly die. Every champion can prevent pushing. You are just wrong. I don't understand how I can even out the wave when, if I approach the wave, naut gets a free stun and vlad gets a q+e, and I have to run against red buff. Then I don't ecen have the option of staying in lane. I'm not trying to argue, I legitimately want to know how to react against that. If there's 2 people sitting in your lane, stay in XP range, stay high on HP(aka pot up), and wait for it to hit tower, and then just kill melee creeps. You won't be able to get ranged creeps. Especially against naut and vlad, this is an almost completely safe option if you are near full HP. Both are rather shitty tower divers at low levels because neither bring the burst damage required. Juke the naut Q with either flash or your own Q, and then stun him if he walks at you under tower after he's taken aggro. Against a stronger combo though, like renek+j4 or something like that though, the smarter option would definitely to just sit far back just in XP range and wait for jungler because they can most definitely kill you under tower at level 3 if there are more than a few minions. A level 3 naut with no buffs also has a hard time in the jungle. Like the new jungle hurts more and even if Naut maxes shield which reduces the effectiveness of his future ganks (less burst) he has either clear problems, health problems, or mana problems. Trading 1for1 in that situation is fine imo.

are level 1 ganks -> THEN go to buff camp going to be a thing now? trying to think of a champ that can jungle with their gank skill. olaf back in business?
|
You'd need to be able to clear a buffcamp alone while having taken your ganking skill. I can't really think of any jungler that could do that atm. Maybe Mundo? It's still pretty allin, because not getting help at your first buff will hurt you a lot. And if the enemy jungler started at the diagonal buff from you, you lose one of your buffs for that attempted gank.

Like losses which are really my fault happen VERY rarely. My playstyle is just safe farming so I almost never feed and if I get fed it's mostly in teamfights mid game.
Can't teach people how to not get caught. Also simple things. We are vs eve jungle and in a 40 minute game I am only person who has bought a pink ward when she is raping us and my solo lanes are buying green wards. You'd think you'd know this shit in d3..........

Ali jungle might be able to with a good Pulv, but he's pretty bad right now.
Yeah Olaf might be the only legit one. Oh wait, Skarner might be able to, but his pre-6 only ok anyway.

yeah, skarner olaf mundo could all feasibly do it. not super well but it could be a nice surprise tactic

If everyone is so bad, maybe your goal shouldn't be "safe farming", and instead involve exploiting all those mistakes your enemies make. Being good at exploiting mistakes is always a useful talent, because people will never really stop making mistakes.
Your goal is not to teach people, it is to teach yourself. There is a pretty large area between singlehandedly losing the game and carrying hard to the victory. Your goal should not be to not lose, but to win.
