I know it seems stupid, but there's a lot of little tricks you can do to take less damage, which really helps on your first and second clears. For example, with Hecarim everyone knows that you hit W after your Q has 2 stacks for max healing-- what you can also do is kite back a little on big camps-- you essentially lose one auto (which is negligible damage) it saves you like 20-30 hp per camp. So on your first clear, you can gank with almost 100 more hp than you would normally, which is a really big safety buffer. I guess you can work on landing skillshots, learning all the little tricks like animation lengths and cancels for sick harass and such, but all you can do there is carefully pay attention to those details while grinding a lot of games. Otherwise the game is just decisionmaking and either learning how to respond to as many combinations of enemies as possible with your 4 spells (plus active items I guess), or developing the ability to improvise. I used to do this really silly thing where I'd play Lulu and try to kill jungle camps (back before they changed the AI). I'd start full pots and then just try and kite as much as I could, see how far I could get before I died (not very, lol). <- is not diamond, but does main support | ||

Play vs Intermediate Bots on Dominion. You get a significant amount of gold to work with quickly and can skirmish around. People don't take it too seriously to finish so you usually get enough time to get your core build. Only catch is the missing items like BT and the various Spirit Stones. | ||
