There are those champs who set up stuff, for example when you nail somebody with Leona, or hit that flash ult/Q that protects your carries, there are those who interrupt/counteract enemy actions and are visible through that, Soraka's E on the Akali that just dove your backline, or Janna's whole kit where you see what she did because she reacted to another action.
Sona's ult as a counter-initiation/defensive tool tends to prevent things from happening, so you can only appreciate how good/bad a given ult is if you already understand the situation and how it unfolds. Amumu ults your whole team, you ult theirs as they come, you see it through Amumu's play more than yours. Zac/Malphite initiates onto your team with Ori ball and misses you, and you get a 4-man Crescendo that prevents a devantasting Command:Shockwave follow-up, that was a super good ult, but because it was basically just 2 champs casting a spell, and the rest being cc'd, it's a bit of a "nothing happens" and you need to be aware of the Ori ball and what would have happened without the Sona ult to understand that it's good.

I'm pretty bad at using my brain in the spur of the moment, so maybe that's why I can tell a good Sona play when spectating or being in the backline, but when playing her I'm unable to tell if I'm playing good or bad because I fail to see my impact regardless. >>


I wouldn't even mind it too much. I mean, Dignitas already have enough to sort out by themselves, now imagine if on top of that the other teams enhance their roster/game... Gyabo. t_t
