1. If Draven is banned, pick Ezreal or Vayne.
2. If Ezreal is picked, choose Vayne.
3. If Ezreal is picked, choose Draven.*
4. If Vayne is picked, choose Draven.*
5. If Draven is picked, choose Cait.

Not sure about you, but from personal experience, duo bottom lanes tend to feed and lose the game more often than not. I think jungler/mid is the best combination.
Anyway, they say it because they think (and I think I agree) that it will help them both get their roles. Duo queuers tend to be smurfs, and if 2 people call roles and say that they are duo, indecisive or people who don't care that much will be more than likely to give them to them.

Graves can still win a Cait if he has the right support or simply a support advantage (like alistar graves vs cait blitz)

I'm just saying you need to take a break if you are on that big of a tilt. Usually a change of pace helps with things(in this case, my suggestion was ARAM)
well it's been consistent for the past month now lol. I haven't been the most active player throughout the last few weeks but I feed a lot more often now

you could say that about any 2v2. Its assumed all things being equal. Cait makes playing graves want to pull your hair out.

To add to this...if you duo queue together and both go bot lane then it means that mid and top can still feed. But if you send one guy top or mid and the other guy bot lane you only have one lane that can feed (assuming you're confident in yourself and your partner to not feed).
I've played duos with the same person for like 80% of my games the past eight or nine months. When we both go bottom there is a high probability that we'll do well but that the other two lanes will play like shit. We have a much much higher win rate if we go to separate lanes or if one of us lanes and the other jungles. I'm confident in his ability to not die very often in lane and he's confident in mine. I would imagine anyone who duos often has a relationship like this or else they wouldn't duo together very often.

If you duo bottom. You better fucking go legendary. If you duo bot it's best to do lane swap. 2v1 shove lane down as fast as possible and take turret then swap lanes back to 2v2. Come back with fat change in your pocket and them shit all over in 2v2.

I'm just referring to the overwhelming amount of 4/5th pick Graves I've been playing amount that thing that go ham. Like E right into the middle of the fight, spam QWR as if he was fucking Jarvan, and then die. Cait and Ez are also candidates for the player who does not want to play AD, but Graves is the most hilarious.

I understand not wanting to tunnel on bot, but if you put yourselves in seperate lanes, you negate all the synergy you gain from playing with the same person over and over, which one of the big advantages of duo queuing. Top + jungle or mid + jungle work together as pairs just like adc+support do, and you have the ability of affecting the whole map.
Picking both carry roles is just bizarre to me, because you're basically saying that you're a duo, but you're going to rely on the random pubbers to protect you and pick engagements. Top lane and mid is a little better, but if you're going to duo, giving up a synergistic bot lane or jungler pairing is strange.

Graves loses to cait, varus, mf, and draven. (Also gets crushed super hard by sivir.)
Cait has a large, large range advantage to the extent that she can harass enough to ignore graves' tankiness. You can go to e-q to equalize the damage in trades, but her net+peacemaker combo shuts that down pretty hard. You need a strong support to overcome the lane, since you do win out in a brawling scenario, but getting close really feels impossible at times.
Varus has the same issue of range, but he also does a ton of damage. If you stay back as graves, your q does less damage so you always lose out on the trade, and plus you will most likely need to e to dodge his hail of arrows, which is hard to avoid otherwise, meaning you'll go oom quickly. If you go in, that's viable, but you leave yourself at the mercy of the enemy support.
MF is the easiest of the four because even though she outdamages you by a significant amount, is faster, and has higher aa range than you, you can harass with q and avoid fighting her directly since that takes away her passive and she has no escape or way to catch you. But if you start to get behind, it's very difficult to farm and she chunks a ton of your health very quickly with her auto reset.
I've never played a draven as graves because I never see draven on the chinese server, but everyone loses to draven so.
Basically you need your support to carry you against 75% of the ad carries popular atm as graves, but the disadvantages are indeed smaller than vayne or trist in the bad matchups. Alternatively you can just shove the lane non-stop, which is a pretty easy to way to win lane, but there's plenty of ways for the enemy to abuse you doing that.

Why do no low level players understand how to fight in like 2v2's or 3v3's? Was playing with a bunch of level 15s because my girlfriend decided she wants to play league.
Tried to drop knowledge bombs (IE, if you in a 2v2, and they focusing one person, the other person shouldn't run if he at full HP, he should do the deeps. zzz).
Someone needs to do some sort of "derp how to teamfight" shindig. Hell, even at gold I see supports that run during 2v2's botlane and leave their AD to get poked for free instead of dealing as much damage to the apposing AD as possible.
