EDIT: Somewhat related, I wish LoL had a full-on combat log and not just the semi-functional death recap. that implies the current death recap is even partially functional. Yeah, you really can't trust the death recap. I died today as Janna with 1700 life and it only showed 900 damage towards me... I was at full health 20 seconds before that. So for the past few months I've been reflecting on all my legit games and trying to figure out what I can do to improve. I put this all in an excel spreadsheet or massive word doc. I think I'm improving for sure. Does anyone else do something similar. I just don't feel like I can measure my improvement without actually writing stuff down. + Show Spoiler + I think Craton did something similar? or he just kept data from his games in a spreadsheet; but I think he remarked about not doing it any more.

I think this is a cool idea, and it is probably a good way to improve. I regularly write down notes in a notepad document at work and at home, but never thought to apply it to LoL. For work/home, it definitely helps stick some things to my memory, so it definitely can't hurt. I'll keep this in mind the more I play LoL.

Pretty sure the death recap doesn't show damage shielded at all. So if you take 500 damage (1000 in, 500 shield) it will only show 500.
But overall the death recap is horribly inaccurate and often glitchy, e.g. showing damage sources as having come from abilities that deal no damage.

I wrote a program that stored it all in a database. My later iterations of the program would grab the data for me so I had little to no data entry on my part. Several API and Riot changes later and I never put in the time to update it so I stopped doing it.

I can smell a nerf already. I haven't lost a game as Neo Sejuani.

I don't plan to return and review the spreadsheets often. I just don't like reviewing things.

Yeah, maybe if I write down "don't ward enemy blue while entire team is MIA" enough times it will finally sink in lol.

i have a bad habit of this. once we take the enemy bot tower, i drop a ward by their blue. :/
jax lore: basically head of the league thought league wasnt badass enough so he joined. it was still too easy, so he decided to beat the shit out of people with a lamppost that wasn't even from narnia.

If you want, in TROLLS games I can kill you everytime you do that until you learn. I don't mind, really. Pleasure to help a bud out.

I've never actually played in a legit TROLLS game, maybe one of these days. Just yell at me if I do it in 5s, it should have a similar effect.

It's my computer that sucks cock. Doesn't mean I can't spam keys and receive kills. G_G

Someone on reddit recently posted a death recap where Zed's death mark bonus damage was shown as coming from Akali (there was no Akali in game) -- is this a glitch or a hidden lore easter egg?

Death Mark is Akali's Q passive, and Riot apparently doesn't care to recode death recaps to know the difference between the two identically named abilities. I'm assuming that since Akali existed first, it shows her 'skill' as the damage dealer.

What's the general consensus on Jungle Elise? Strong ganks and early game but weak without kills?

Ok so I just bought Sejuani. How the fuck did she make it out of PBE in this state. The character is legitly blantly batshit OP.
Regarding the build, you can try a very mid-game tempo oriented build : Golem Tabis Locket Visage
This item combo makes you INCREDIBLY tanky while having 40% CDR, which means perma W activated. At the same time, you can get those 4 items really fast, since starting from mid-game, people will be less likely to allocate you farm, and that makes sense most of the time. Afterward, you can go for Lyandri and Randuin if you're stupidly rich, or stick to the teamwork items with pinks and all that jazz.

I've been going pretty much the same build, but switching Tabi for Mobility boots and Visage for FH. While the first is a matter of preference I'd definately advice on the latter. The Visage passive is kinda wasted on her, and FH is only 800 more gold.
But yeah, she broken as fuck right now.

playing jungle yi is so fun: the times you get flamed all game for not choosing a tanky jungler are well worth the games you reach god mode and your opponents start spamming "yi op" in all chat. Also killing a tower in 5 seconds is pretty ridiculous
