I'm just imagining the people from 0 elo trying to copy saint's jungle yi to try to carry themselves out just like saint did.
...it's hilarious.

I was in Silver IV until 3-4 days ago...am I honestly and truly this bad at the game? Horribly depressing. Like...I'm actually shocked at watching this game how bad everyone is. I wish I could learn to see this kind of stuff when I'm actually IN a game. Fuck.
After watching that game, the Taric did okay but he made a lot of mistakes that compounded into his team doing extremely poorly overall. A lot of it was really stupid basic stuff too, like attacking into a massive wave of minions when they're already behind, coordinating poorly with his ADC (which generally led to him getting the kills not the MF), not using the actives on his items, going balls to the wall but the execution being extremely ugly resulting in outcomes much worse than they could have been, etc.
Are you actually this bad at the game? There's probably some glaring weakness in your game (the Anivia is silver 3 for reference). I've spent a lot of time in the lower regions of gold and I get matched up against silver 1/2s fairly frequently (often times they're a duo with someone). If I end up in a lane against them, I can almost always tell immediately if they're less skilled than me, I almost never lose lane against a silver. Even if I do lose, a lot of the time I can be more useful than them post laning anyway.
Mindblowing fact: the MF paired with the Taric was gold 5 (although a perpetual basement dweller, so who knows what their actual skill level is). I will say one of my biggest pet peeves is that for some reason even at the gold level, ADCs and junglers tend to be really retarded and engage into massive waves of minions and then blame everyone else when the minions kill someone. I'd expect that at the silver level, but I encounter it fairly routinely in gold, and I don't understand why. How hard is it to push the wave and then be aggressive? You'd be surprised...
That being said, I'm pretty much a middle of the road gold player, and the majority of the time, I feel like I'm absolutely terrible at this game and routinely do really stupid stuff. Although I see other players around my level do even larger volumes stupid stuff, I just realize my margin for error is a lot lower if I want to be good enough that my play is a deciding factor in winning the game.

The overall message is quite clear: if you want to get out of lowlevel playing quickly, cheese the fuck out of every game and abuse snowballing.

Give Regi Karthus, he donates mad money AND TSM win.
Win win win!

When I play against OR as Gragas - Always feed, never not feed.
Also. Teams from Asia are in:
In Korea, the roster is as follows: CJ Entus Blaze Ambition in Mid Lane, CJ Entus Frost Shy for Top Lane, KT Rolster B Insec for Jungle, NaJin Sword Pray for AD Carry, and CJ Entus Frost Madlife for Support. Madlife has the largest percent of votes for any role in any region, including North America and Europe, boasting the confidence of over 80% of Korean voters.
China is, as expected, basically World Elite, with all five players having more than 50% of the votes in each category. But with the all-star matches limiting teams to three representatives at most, two of them will have to cheer the rest on from the audience. The Chinese representatives will be World Elite's Misaya, Caomei and weixiao for Mid Lane, Top Lane and AD Carry respectively, with Invictus Gaming xiaoxiao and Positive Energy Jing rounding out the Support and Jungler roles.
Finally, it wouldn't be the All-Stars without the Season 2 World Champions making an appearance, and true to form, they dominate the South-East Asia polls. Oddly, the current Azubu Taipei Assassins failed to fill the max three slots, with only Stanley and Toyz in Top and Mid Lane respectively. They do, however, have a reunion with former TPA captain and Support player MiSTakE, now playing for sibling team Azubu Taipei Snipers. Meanwhile, GPL rivals Singapore Sentinels will be sending AD Carry Chawy and Jjungler HaRleLuYar.

you can play anything and snowballing is something that everyone takes advantage of to win any game
people just cheese in low elo because its fun to do and it happens to work, while stomping with the same shit you do in solo queue is pretty boring

So when I play top lane I feel like I'm just in a 1v1 game until a jungler shows up. Should I just be farming or should I push the lane and run to mid and/or invade their jungle? It feels really boring to just last hit and not do anything until teamfights start.

Top lane is sometimes called an island for a reason. If it's too boring, you should probably play a different position. Shoving your lane and roaming is ok. But chances are if you shove, you get ganked. I wouldn't invade unless your own jungler initiates it and/or you have wards in their jungle.

And Marn is donating $50 for every one of Patoy's deaths. lolololol. Watch that totally backfire on him (and be great for charity).

Win win win! It seems a bit stupid and PR stunty to me though, since the victims will have plenty of support living in a 1st world country where the whole nation is behind them anyway. Send it somewhere where it will make a difference, like the earthquakes happening recently or to some 3rd world countries that really need it. It's a nice gesture but still seems like an attention grab PR stunt.

Regi tf firstpick go
Also seems like sea indeed disnt et to use the tps players, i rate them as the weakest team now, even weaker than na yes

Even in a first world country, people still need money to recover from injury, trauma, and everything like that. Just because the U.S. is one of the most well-off places in the world doesn't mean those affected don't also need help.
It's a good thing to do, and I hope and pray that he altruism outweighs whatever "popularity benefit" he may get from doing it. Besides, he's not going to be looking to die in the All-Stars.

Should I just play champions like Lee where I can just go out on someone?

willfully choosing three of the most passive top laners and complaining about boredom seems pretty intuitive to me too
