Edit: actually it looks like they're going to keep her midlane viable. I like that in their mind "support" doesn't mean duo-laner (and that they say Nami/Thresh were designed as such as that it is a different thing from being a support) but rather how the champ positions regarding utility and damage scales. On March 07 2013 10:37 Parnage wrote: Because remember kids if you have anything beyond a B cup and show some leg you are a stripper. Give me a break.. Y'know, he also said "anything close" with big emphasis. Sure, she's no stripper, and sure, she looks baller (I won't deny that, since they wanted to go for "badass" they did that part well), but still, compared to what she was originally, how she was seen, and the reason people liked her visual design and theme in the first place you won't tell me that there's no stretch here, will you? Yeah, they wanted to show evolution, change, and all that, hence why they didn't update her model but rather reworked it. I can get that. I just dislike how opposite it is to the way she was portrayed since her inception, and all the details they put after several Riot graphic designers (including Iron Stylus) talking in great lengths about how they dislike sexualising things too much (said so about Diana and Quinn recently). When you try so hard to hammer such a point to your audience, coming up with such a transition as the one between current Karma and upcoming one, well... let's just say it weakens your assertions. Speaking about Karma, there's an ex-"emissary of the league" (dunno what it was, not official Rioter, but some avatar/status on the forum) that prepared a poll and people got him to play 50 ranked games of Karma in a row. There.

She's a champion that scales off of cooldowns and AP so she needs lot of gold, but her CC isn't that great. She has great lane sustain. Also even with AP, it's hard to get off the full damage of her combo because you want to use her to shield/heal/slow people as well as do damage.

I just tried to save and link the thing and it prompted me to register and login, and when I did it returned me to a blank page with no extra builds made. I'll redo it a bit later and give you a link if you want. It seems entirely reasonable to me that Tristana prefers BotRK over BT, since she has no AD ratios at all and her AS steroid is so large. But I don't know if I'm doing the math right. For Yango: http://lol.askmrrobot.com/tools/builder/tristana-vs-targetdummy/55ed060a-039d-4eba-a89f-58f8b343d867#r=Damage,t=TargetDummy,d=Dps Lemme know if I'm reading it wrong. Couple things I've noticed: 1 - Ask Mr Robot isn't using the hotfixed BotRK yet, so it's modeled as 5 more AD than it should have. 2 - It has Trist using the BotRK active at the very start of the fight. It's DPS should improve the later in the fight you use it, so that your early % health passive procs do a bit more damage.

Wow. I know part of it comes from my own improvement since, so the ADs I face now are better than back then, but he felt so... clunky. Sure, Caitlyn's harass in lane can be annoying, and I was supported by a Soraka with no lane presence at all, but even without that. In my memories you could chain auto->Q pretty smoothly, with a fast and nice animation, but it's actually fairly long, and the base AS nerf makes last hitting early on so annoying. Even later actually. That was... wow. I pictured Ezreal as a nimble champ, but when Graves' aa and animations feel smoother than his, well... let's just say I gotta update those memories of Ez I had.

The guys at Ask Mr Robot justify this by saying that their tool is mainly for calculating "time to kill" via setting up multiple 1v1s vs different opponents which they claim is better than "theoretical DPS". I don't agree with them about this (I mean why bother optimizing for 1v1 as an ADC or any other (non split pushing) role when when there's so much team fighting to do) but then they don't agree with me either. They might have taken my suggestion and made the DPS calculator more theoretical but since it's been little more than a week since we talked I kinda doubt it.

Never going to mid vs lux ever again. Edit 2: Does that means you can stand still while spamming emotes and float around?

Or you could hit breakpoints more easily. Going all CDR blue will make landing 4x acid hunters per grenade easier once you have a 10% cdr item (you get 0.09 seconds more to launch all 4, or about 35% extra time for 0.4 secs total). Also just bought karma. Sup fellow hipsters.

Meh, I feel Riot too fast with rework without even trying to balance. They haven't touched karma in forever, but rather than do some number balances, or try working with her fan count mechanics; they decided it's it's just easier to scrap what they have now, and re-work, (which btw ,usually means removing a lot of the charm out of the champ, and feels very boring for the most part).

I feel like they should grant the special skin just for people who own her before this announcement :3 On March 07 2013 13:28 wei2coolman wrote: Meh, I feel Riot too fast with rework without even trying to balance. They decided to do this a loooooooong time ago. They've been working on her rework for a long time. I love the way Karma is now, but I'll reserve judgement for when I see her new kit.
