While the drawback is of course that the number of choices gets even more limited, it's awful to compare players in different environments.

![]() 1. We realize that initially we had significant server issues, and we wanted to apologize to you guys for the problems. Thanks for bearing with us as we grow! 2. A lot of you are disappointed in the current lineup format (weekly resets, pricing changes, not being rewarded for proper research). We want to make our system better. When we were first demoing the app people disliked the ability to purchase a player and "lock him in" at that price, even if his actual cost increased. It made newb players feel like they couldn't possibly catch up to early adopters who had locked in all the good guys when they were cheap. I call this the Eve Online effect. Since launch, it has become clear that people would rather feel appreciated for their skill than coddled for their lack of knowledge. We are toying with some ways to fix it, but would love your ideas. I personally am a fan of a "soft" cap at $100, with a hard cap that will hit you around 130-150. Shoot me your thoughts though! 3. Live drafts. This is a feature we always wanted, but the lack of time before the LCS launched just made it impossible. We're just 2 guys working on this on the weekends. However, we have recently started working with a few more devs who (gasp) actually rock at coding. Live drafts will be implemented during the midseason break. 4. Saved Rosters - this is just something that we should have caught in beta. For some reason it never bothered anyone up until about a week ago. Since then it seems blatantly obvious and I can't believe we missed it. The short term fix was making last week's roster viewable so that you can at least copy it quickly. 5. Statistics - right now it is really hard to find and process player statistics. Since we are taking the time to watch every game and record every piece of data, we want this stuff to be front and center. We're working on some ideas right now to really make LoL eSport statistics as cool and user-friendly as "real" sports. Think graphs, KDA charts, match / week / month trackers, and more. Sorry for the incredibly long winded post! Please feel free to dissect my thoughts and provide your own. We want to create the experience you guys deserve, and we can't do that without helpful feedback. In the meantime, good luck! -Matt, AKA Klausenheim

I can't afford nRated any more since he had a good week, and that sucks, but I'll figure it out. Live drafts would be great, but the player pool is so small that leagues would be capped at 5-10 teams. Have you considered a heads-up format like Yahoo fantasy football?

![]() Indeed, live drafts will require a complete revamp of the league system. That's why it will take a bit more time to develop - look for this to launch at the midseason break (April 20), although we will hopefully have some beta testing happening before then. The live draft league's will most likely have some sort of head-to-head schedule. Hard to pin down right now.

I joined with 3 friends, and two of them today said "eh, I'm done" after realizing their team was gone.

ps. Is the player points atleast a zero sum formula so that inflation doesn't kill it?

Is the player points atleast a zero sum formula so that inflation doesn't kill it? I feel your sentiment. At least EG I feel underperformed last week, so their prices are pretty low right now.

@Gorsameth Inflation is not a problem. The formula is flexible. The average price for all the players is about 20 dollars right now and it will remain at 20 dollars. We continue to hear your feedback and we definitely have plans to improve on our current system. The biggest change would be the having to make your team each week, it's become evident that this is deterring users from the fantasy site.

It's really good to hear from you guys directly (both on your site and here) and I'm really happy you're taking all this feedback/criticism into account - it's not always easy to take criticism. While I'm not happy with the "remaking team every week" system, I'm gonna keep participating because I know you guys are working to make it better.
