The problem is that this new reset put people 100 or so points below the cuttoff (i.e 1450 in Silver 1). So as you win, the system checks your MMR and then decides how many points to give you based on that. So if you end up with like 75 or 80 LP but your Elo is still like 1450, you are gonna start seeing tiny LP gains until you end up with whatever the system thinks a 1450 player should have. So I think ATM the system is essentially having to police what was evidently a terrible switch. | ||
