I dunno why they didn't pick just up Nhat. Aphro's support play has been extremely underwhelming; he frequently under-wards, goes all-in at bad times, and generally doesn't seem well-versed in the role.
I guess Aphro just wants to replace Cop.

I think they believe Aphro still has room to improve whereas they don't think Nhat will get much better, if at all, since he has been playing support for such a long time. They'd rather bank on Aphro being able to learn and become a better support than Nhat in the future I think. I just hope the same thing doesn't happen with him as it did with Loco where he will end up hating playing support in the long run and end up not practicing/caring/performing well. And I hope Chauster will actually spend some more time teaching him how to play than he did with Loco.

With all those bruisers and assassins mid, which traditional ap mids are still kinda good or safe? I refuse to play bruisers just to counter this stupid form. I would guess orianna or zyra or maybe tanky ryze could do well. bonus question to you zyra players since there's no zyra thread. which combo do you use to harass or trade? e and cast w while the projectile travels and then q on the rooted enemy? or wait for the e to connect and then cast q followed instantly by w for more damage with your plants?

But everyone knows you can't join Curse until you have played for and gotten benched by CLGNA first. huehuehuehuehue

I dont see CLG as the kind of people who will sit down and actualy teach something. Chauster + Aphro doing practice/teaching sessions inhouse could be really helpfull but i just dont see em being organised enough to do.

Usually throw E then immediatly 2 W under the enemy as soon as you're sure it'll hit (harder to hit, easier to know now that the skillshot travels slower), and a Q on top of it just for kicks. Add the ult if you just want to kill them. You can also suicide if you think you'll be short on damage.
As for safe laners, Galio is, because he clears really well, doesn't care too much about building some armor (FH is a pretty good item on him) and his W is a good armor steroid (+ heal if you aggro minions) too. Galio actually scoffs at Talon because if you W as soon as his silence fades when he does his usual combo, the DoT from his Q will heal be outhealed by all the procs (even more so with the coming nerfs). Malphite, Cho'Gath can run mid as well as top so it shouldn't change too much for them. No idea about usual top laners such as Vladimir and Kennen (Kennen probably wrecks Talon, though).

Morg is still super safe/solid.

Now now, "all the stupid" is a bit too much credit. Liftlift still does as liftlift does (i.e. farming across the map instead of noticing an objective or team fight)

Although I would argue d-lifts tendency to free farm and concede objects actually wins CLG games. Doublelift carry too strong. I know this is a bad mindset and will lead to loses against better teams, but doublelift's skill is easily abusable against other NA teams.

Oh oops, misread "can't" as "can". Disregard.

Also, has Chauster succeeded in teaching anything to HSGG yet ? hue

Chauster can't work miracles. I am sure he's tried however. Maybe someday it'll take hold. But I doubt it.
